  • Thanks to the Flashpoint Archive, I take a look at a bunch of official Avatar webgames of various genres, that Nickelodeon pumped out during the show's run. More to come next time! Most of these were just a brief play, but I got more into some and completed them. Games played:
-Avatar Arena, a 1v1 fighting game that lets you customise a bending OC to some extent. The game part wouldn't load for me, sadly.
-Fortress Fight 1 & 2, artillery games where you have access to different bending powers and ammunition types depending on your choice of nation's fortress.
-4 Nations Tournament, a Pong variant where each character has bending powers to interact with the ball.
-Elemental Escape, a puzzle platformer where you swap between Aang, Katara, and Toph to escape a Fire Nation ship.
-Trials of Serpent's Pass, a puzzle sidescroller where Toph has to manipulate earth to rescue her hapless friends.
-Master of Elements, a kind of virtual version of the real-life Trading Card Game, which had unique art and a handful of OC characters.
-Penguin Sledding, an impressive and fun 3D slide-racing game.
-Black Sun Siege, a tile-based tactics game based on the Invasion.
-Bending Battle, a complicated and chaotic action-clicking game of sorts.
-Aang On!, a mouse-based swiping game.
-Fire Nation Barge Barrage, a ship-based game with combat and a bit of strategy, where you pilot Zuko's ship around to conquer the other nations.
-Escape from the Spirit World, an impressive multi-game story with quizzes and cutscenes. It tells a new story set between books 2 and 3 as well as featuring past Avatars in animated scenes. I played through this one completely, and it included some minigames I'd already covered in addition to Treetop Trouble, a nice action platformer starring Sokka, and a sub-game also called Escape from the Spirit World where you drag symbols onto Aang's body.
-Ashes in the Air, a kind of Sokoban block-pushing puzzle game but with fire instead of blocks. I got really into this one and finished all 20 levels.
