This shows how you have become a full time aaya for the child while he is walking with barehands in stylish clothes. Now compare this to virat kolhi and anushka. Whenever you see them together getting out of the plane or at airport virat is always the one carrying his daughter. This is real parenting where both parents share the duties.
Rewatch the video he carried Ruhan and was also moving him in the stroller at times. Dipika has not captured their 24 hours, .. just some parts of it. So don't judge on the basis of 15-20 mins videos.

Regarding the local baby food for ruhan in dubai you can buy him heinz biscuits or hero biscuits. There is cerelac easily available as well - can be purchased from carrefour. There is porridge in jars of heinz and hero brand also that you can feed him easily available in carrefour.

A few suggestions, During immigration, there's a separate line for passengers with infants, you don't need to wait in queue for that long. First of all don't wrap baby like that with blanket, they'll get irritated, simply use a cap covering ears when its cold. Don't make him wear bodysuits when you cant button up the diaper area, it looks bad, go for shirt nad bottom or rompers. You bought feeding spoons at mothercare but you're feeding him with hands, at home its okay, but outside baby also needs to follow certain etiquettes. Feeding mashed potatoes with a silicon spoon would ensure a smooth feeding experience and easy cleanup afterwards. Please use a bib whenever feeding the baby to maintain hygiene, otherwise all clothes will get dirty during the trip. The baby might be getting agitated in the stroller as its facing away from the mother, so its overwhelming for the baby to see so many people, lights, colors, etc. Such strollers should be used at a later stage when kids can actually enjoy their surroundings. Right now you need a stroller with bay facing you so that he can be calm. Carrying the baby all day in your arms is the main reason for body pain in babies which is why they get cranky and irritated. Use a baby carrier and when he's sleeping put hime on your lap. Coz if you keep holding him in your arms all the time that he's sleeping, his back posture is wrong and it'll hurt him. Traveling with kids is never easy . As a couple one travels is totally different and relax Vs with your child it’s a entirely different. I don’t know what happened at Mumbai airport but based on my experience I can only say you as a mom have to take charge of your childs stuff . Your bags are lost or misplaced as an adult one can go buy stuff in the mall . But you have to make sure each time your kids belongings are with you all the time . This is called being alert all the time . Be it sitting in restaurant , traveling , exiting the hotel etc , Every time you move from one place to another you have to make sure you have picked all the stuff of you child .
The biggest mistake as new parents you have made is NOT using a PARENT FACING STROLLER. That is what ruhaan needs!! Any baby his age will feel over stimulated being pushed around in a busy environment. It helps with healthy development of the child. No wonder the child always looks startled. He needs to see you guys in his view to feel safe!!!!

Hi, you can buy flavoured yogurt for Ruhaan the small sealed packs, in addition to this avocado and pear puree, kids love it. The ready made food he might not like or sometimes are very sour, so dont waste money on those, stick to natural food. You can gerber cereals they have organic ones in green packaging, for sooji you can make a date paste and add that in sooji as a sweetner. For snack you can hand him dried fig he will love it as a teether too.

We have been travelling since my kids were 3 months old. Travelled the world, never ever have I carried so many things. Especially in world class cities and good hotels you get almost everything.

You should also take him to parks and gardens so he gets used to going out. Also buy pouches of food really good for traveling like Aisha pouches or dry food like heinz. I did cook food for my baby on trip, i also packed sooji, oats, pan, hot plate.. if you prefer home made for your baby than surely you do cook everywhere you go
You should go to Dubai Hills mall - it’s a new mall with almost same brands as Dubai mall but very accessible. Babyshop/Centrepoint is reasonably best for babies. - green planet (for kids) -Dubai aquarium (ruhaan will love seeing the fishes ) - La mer beach
Please do not get into the habit of cooking on trips and carrying cooking gear...at 8 months a baby can easily eat at good restaurants as they offer child friendly food he will enjoy only of you give him the exposure to different food and textures. Dubai specially is great for baby friendly food!! I've travelled with my baby since she was 6 months old and we have never ever carried any cooking gear for her.😊 Also sooji is already so fine why do you have to grind it further, please offer him some texture food and definitely encourage self feeding now. Absolutely no need of offering local baby food! We offered steamed rice, mashed veggies, eggs boiled, chicken shredded (don't think you have introduced non veg yet again something that you must introduce once you are back to Mumbai) also if if he is breastfeeding then it is ok to skip a meal or two during travels. You seems to be stressing and fussing a lot about baby food and honestly it is not needed. Breastmilk is the main source of nutrition till 12 months and not solid food.
I also carry the whole home with my baby. And my bag becomes so heavy every time we go outside☺️. It’s that mother’s instinct ki kahi kuch Miss na ho jaye.

A few suggestions,
During immigration, there's a separate line for passengers with infants, you don't need to wait in queue for that long.
First of all don't wrap baby like that with blanket, they'll get irritated, simply use a cap covering ears when its cold.
Don't make him wear bodysuits when you cant button up the diaper area, it looks bad, go for shirt nad bottom or rompers.
You bought feeding spoons at mothercare but you're feeding him with hands, at home its okay, but outside baby also needs to follow certain etiquettes. Feeding mashed potatoes with a silicon spoon would ensure a smooth feeding experience and easy cleanup afterwards.
Please use a bib whenever feeding the baby to maintain hygiene, otherwise all clothes will get dirty during the trip.
The baby might be getting agitated in the stroller as its facing away from the mother, so its overwhelming for the baby to see so many people, lights, colors, etc. Such strollers should be used at a later stage when kids can actually enjoy their surroundings. Right now you need a stroller with bay facing you so that he can be calm.
Carrying the baby all day in your arms is the main reason for body pain in babies which is why they get cranky and irritated. Use a baby carrier and when he's sleeping put hime on your lap. When travelling with kids check in all the extra bag just keep the important one with baby food and some clothes for need. It’s make the trip much easier if you have less bag in hands.
You can give him hero puree fruit pulp. You can even take Gerber purees pouch.. Heinz brand is also there. You get vegetable mix in it fruit purees. Since weather is chill cover his ears specially. Rain is predicted. Take care

Traveling with kids is never easy . As a couple one travels is totally different and relax Vs with your child it’s a entirely different.
I don’t know what happened at Mumbai airport but based on my experience I can only say you as a mom have to take charge of your childs stuff . Your bags are lost or misplaced as an adult one can go buy stuff in the mall . But you have to make sure each time your kids belongings are with you all the time . This is called being alert all the time . Be it sitting in restaurant , traveling , exiting the hotel etc , Every time you move from one place to another you have to make sure you have picked all the stuff of you child .
The biggest mistake as new parents you have made is NOT using a PARENT FACING STROLLER. That is what ruhaan needs!! Any baby his age will feel over stimulated being pushed around in a busy environment. It helps with healthy development of the child. No wonder the child always looks startled. He needs to see you guys in his view to feel safe!!!!

Being a mother of two kids (toddler/infant) , i would suggest you can buy some organic oats available in different flavours and the brand name is Gerber, the taste is good and its healthy too, you need to add lukewarm water into it and its ready, second option you can go for Heinz & Hero brand baby food products (biscuit, apple/mango/strawberry/ mix fruit puree .. these all are good option and you can get it in Lulu hypermarket & Carrefore.. hope this comment will help you.. lots of Love to Ruhaan..

Hi, you can buy flavoured yogurt for Ruhaan the small sealed packs, in addition to this avocado and pear puree, kids love it. The ready made food he might not like or sometimes are very sour, so dont waste money on those, stick to natural food.
You can gerber cereals they have organic ones in green packaging, for sooji you can make a date paste and add that in sooji as a sweetner. For snack you can hand him dried fig he will love it as a teether too.

When husbands are supportive it gets very easy to travel with kids. We have the best memories. I see only you are trying to take care of the baby. Only you are carrying him around. If your husband is more participating in taking care of baby then you will also enjoy.

You should get chicoo baby chair which is really good for traveling. And make one baby bag with food, clothes and nappies all in one. You should also take him to parks and gardens so he gets used to going out. Also buy pouches of food really good for traveling like Aisha pouches or dry food like heinz. You should go to Dubai Hills mall - it’s a new mall with almost same brands as Dubai mall but very accessible. Babyshop/Centrepoint is reasonably best for babies.

Please do not get into the habit of cooking on trips and carrying cooking gear...at 8 months a baby can easily eat at good restaurants as they offer child friendly food he will enjoy only of you give him the exposure to different food and textures. Dubai specially is great for baby friendly food!! I've travelled with my baby since she was 6 months old and we have never ever carried any cooking gear for her.😊
Also sooji is already so fine why do you have to grind it further, please offer him some texture food and definitely encourage self feeding now.
Absolutely no need of offering local baby food! We offered steamed rice, mashed veggies, eggs boiled, chicken shredded (don't think you have introduced non veg yet again something that you must introduce once you are back to Mumbai) also if if he is breastfeeding then it is ok to skip a meal or two during travels. You seems to be stressing and fussing a lot about baby food and honestly it is not needed. Breastmilk is the main source of nutrition till 12 months and not solid food.
