I think Joe can handle the cold water a little better than DD. I have been watching Joe for years and he considers 35 degrees warm in his tent at night.
Seeing the 2 Lynx's was super cool. I remember seeing a mountain lion up here in Pennsylvania and I was speechless. Great start to the trip.

Man watching this brings back memories of ice fishing on Long Lake in Sinclair. Walking out to the cabin from the house and catching quarts of smelt and a few cusk. then waiting till day fishing started so we could catch Salmon and Trout so my mom could fry them up with Ployes. Buckwheat flat bread/pancake for those who don't know.

Did that say Bangor Maine ? What lakes are you fishing? 1.5 hrs on asphalt , 1.5 on logging roads and 30 minutes by sled , my guess is Eagle Lake ?
