    Thanks for this. I love the step by step process. I’m brand new to reefing and needed to know a good way to change the water. This is perfect.

    Thank you for the video, it was very helpful to me.

      Thanks man, I know thats the law of the land but I have always mixed water this way for 5 years and have never had a single problem, we do it at work also with no problems. To each is own.

      Adding water to salt causes precipitation lowering the additives and is not recomended. I don’t see why you would go against Red Sea’s recommendation as it does not speed the process or make it any easier. Do whatever you want to your own tank, but I find producing a video in this manor irresponsible.
      Just my personal opinion and not fact 😉

    Do you need to heat the water before putting it in?

    • @EagleAquatics
      @EagleAquatics 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont, unless you are doing a massive 50% or greater change I dont heat the water.

    I thought it was better to add salt to water not water to salt

      @@EagleAquatics I think that's just a basic chemistry thing, usually to avoid some kind of reaction

    FIRST YOU PUT WATER, AFTER THAT YOU ADD SALT TO THE WATER. I THINK YOU HAVE TO LEARN A LOT AND YOU WILL HAVE TO READ A LOT OF BOOKS...
