What color you got? Anyone else get the midnight black S8+?
Jeremy Nelson I have the midnight black. I usually don't go for all black phones, but this one is too slick not to. My 7 edge was the silver one.
Just got my beautiful S8+. Applied pretty much all your tips. Especially loved the 3-tap home button to get one-handed operation and the auto-restart! Great tips!

Thanks for the helpful tips. I just got the S8+ and I love it so far. I will definitely be utilizing the restart feature to make sure that my phone functions at its best. I did not do that with my S7 and I could definitely tell over time.

Someone Someone No lag on mine at all and I'm really sensitive to lag. Battery is stellar. My S8+ is pretty comparable to my wife's iPhone 6S+ which is really saying something because the iPhone battery is stellar.

Thanks for this. Definitely some great tips and tricks in here. However, I don't have "general management" on my VZW S8+. Is there a way to do the auto restart otherwise (besides manually, of course)?

I currently still have the S6 edge, waiting on my contract to end for a s8, favourite feature with the edge panels was that you could make it completely transparent, always hated that white bar but it made it so much more usable

You can screenshot Snapchats undetected if you use smart select
is this a fact
n1657555 it works for chat but pictures to get to the menu it will exit you out
how does snapchat run on the s8+ want to know how everything runs before deciding if i want one
walter ward about as well as any top-tier Android flagship: pretty good, but since the Snapchat guys are such huge Apple fanboys, it's not as great as it would be on iOS

Enjoyed your video, but what would help even more is drawing a red line around the word that is important and just slow down a bit.
I am dyslexic and have to pause and rewind a lot.

If you hold down the power button you get two options, one to shut down phone and the other is re-start. Also the phone has a optimise page that keeps phone running at 100%. There are many features that because the phone has been about for a few years now and if like me you've had it from the beginning then you find all the cool features. There are loads of stuff not mentioned here. I paid £800 when it came out but I've seen them for a fraction of that now. Well worth buying.

Going from the s5 my favorite galaxy phone hands down to the s8+ hoping it is better... I just REALLY love the s5 for its I.R blaster and heart rate monitor nfc AND removable battery.. I believe they got it right with the s5 they should have just kept making the s5 better...not sure if s8+ has i.r blaster like 90% sure the s5 was the ONLY one to every have that.. Guess i dont need it for my new tv/stereo etc but my a.c's i do ill miss turning on my a.c with my phone

Awesome video as always.. thanks for your time and effort that goes into making these.. any time I get a new phone I always watch your videos on them to learn all the tips and tricks and to familiarize myself with the device.. I watched your video when I got a samsung s5, samsung note 5, samsung s7, and now a few days ago I got the samsung s8+.. yes I'm a bit of a fan boy.. I must say thought this s8+ is the best phone I've ever saw, and the display is a beauty, and all the features!!! My mom and dad both got the newest iPhone, and they're resenting the fact after seeing and checking out my s8+ lol.. I have one question though, and hopefully you can help. I've never had a hard time finding a screen protector for a phone until getting this jewl.. most of them says you can't use them in conjunction with a case and I'd rather have a case then a screen protector worse case, but could you recommend a very budget friendly screen protector (because I'm on a fixed income bc of my heart and cancer and have 6 kids lol) that I can use in conjunction with a otter box defender series?thank you very much sir, and keep up the amazing helpful work

I'm trying to customize the navigation colours. I have followed your instructions but when I'm on it, it's just light colours. The symbol that looks like a rainbow I don't have. Can I get it? I have learnt so much from your video. Thank you

My first 2 S8's were bummers. First one did the flash thing when I hit an icon, wouldnt open it but the phone would still function. Number 2 kept telling me there was moisture in the charging port, unless I reset it withthe cord in, then it was ok, but it still wouldnt fast charge.
SO far #3 has giving me the moisture warning once, still no moisture, and seems to fast charge even tho it says cable charge
This has been since May. My S7 never gave me an issue for 3 years...Hopefully this is the good one.
