Subcatagories help you decide what you want to listen to.
Id rather listen to Dubstep over Brostep. Same goes for punk; Crust Punk, Ska Punk, Anarcho Punk, etc over Pop Punk. The more you're interested the more you find what you enjoy. Or be lazy and just TH-cam Autoplay, Pandora, etc the lazy way and dgaf that shit.
I know everyone appreciates the nostalgia this track brings from that era of dubstep, but I genuinely believe this is an astonishingly timeless, stand-out piece; far ahead of it's time among peers. The symbiosis and emotional depth between soundscape and vocals, the tempered and restrained sound design, not to mention the dynamic and unique rhythms in bass and percussion make it almost incomparable. Very rarely in EDM do you come across something heavy enough to imbue one with such kinetic energy while at the same time being so melancholic an emotional response can just as easily and even simultaneously be felt, at least back then
This is truly a standout track from an era of mediocre production quality and being as squelchy as possible, holds up so well.
I would play this song pack when we were able to play the best game ever made, rip Dust514 😭

I listened to this every morning driving to college in 2011 on my 25-30 minute commute which was the most favorite part of my day because I had just got my driving license and I never ever skipped this song when it came up on my shuffle playlist and always repeated this track at least 3 times.
I'm just revisiting this now exactly after 11 years while taking a break from my 12-14 hour work schedule filled with projects, weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and back to back work calls that go on for 4-6 hours non stop. I don't have time to listen to music anymore, let alone replay a track 2-3 times. I don't know if approaching 30s is considered "old", but things are simpler when you're younger. Enjoy good times while they last.

The release of energy that that first drop has, is something that I have never found in another dubstep song. I love how the synth feels like breaths, and Tasha brings that level of frustration and darkness to the track. Simply incredible.

There was this girl I was with for a year and a few months. I started to develop a feeling that she was getting with one of our mutual friends. I was such a pathetic person, I held everything back. We technically weren’t dating, so eventually I approached her about it. She said she was getting with him, but wouldn’t give me a straight answer for how long. I asked her to chose. She looked me in the eyes and said she chooses me. We then continued on, I let down my guard, and developed stronger feelings. A month later, in January, I found out she never stopped with the other guy. And within a day she wouldn’t talk to me. She let me get attached to her just to drop me like nothing. I just started my final semester of college finishing up a degree that I hated in hopes to get a well paying job. I had so much going through my head. I couldn’t escape the thoughts. I felt sad, then angry, then lonely. It was bricks stacking on me, waiting for me to collapse. Late one night I had to get outside, away from something. This song came on while I was walking through the cold, snow covered sidewalks as the gentle snowfall slowly erased my footprints. The streetlights were only at the corners of the blocks, so you couldn’t see that well where you were, but the intersections were clear. I turned around on a far away intersection to get home, but everything left inside me wanted me to keep walking straight ahead. Every time I hear this song, part of what I was feeling that night hits me. Its a familiar, sobering crash emotion that takes out my knees, but still holds me up.

It's so crazy to hear Tasha on a track with a big name in EDM like Feed Me. It felt like it was just yesterday, when I used to go to a club called Trance-sky, here in Johannesburg, and watch her perform with some of our local DnB producers. We all knew that she would make a living off of her singing, but I never imagined that she would go on to work with guys like Noisia. It's crazy seeing people you knew go on to do such big things.
This song is so fucking dark, its actually about something serious, and It is very musical and has style, yet has filth, and is not to heavy but it satisfies

In my opinion only the very best artists are capable of creating music which makes the listener to immerse into a feeling of it. This soundtrack exactly does that. It creates the feeling of a plane loosing control and start to plummet rapidly towards the ground only by listening to it. I have to say this is phenomenal. Truly one of a kind and a real art of music! Keep up the good work!
