We got a chance to sample the upcoming MGC Elite 3x3. This cube has a mix of innovative features and a quick and snappy turn to it. Some of us liked the cube a lot, while others didn't find as much compatibility. However, the general consensus was that the cube was great for its price, and a fantastic improvement for the YJ company.

I can never follow people's solves who average below ten (I average 18) But Phil's turning is so smooth I can tell what he is doing.

I just got the 2m it’s my first magnet cube. Don’t think I need much more thought this is cool for the price

I got this cube and I like it a lot, it’s my new main. My previous main was a Little Magic M and I definitely recommend it
I'm looking for a new 3x3 is it "flimsy" I'm definitely into the unstable fast range of puzzles
Bernardo Sanchez it really depends on the spring settings, id say the looser it is the more flimsy it gets. i personally have it at 2 because i like it fast. 1 was a little too uncontrollable for me tho. i added some DNM and its really good
One question. Magnet strength. Strong, medium, or weak?
@@samsondo420 there are 2 customization options with it, strong and weak. i personally prefer strong magnets

I was going back to the rs3m 2020 and the YJ MGC 3 Elite and I decided to go with the MGC 3 Elite, I think I chose the right cube lol idk I am waiting for it to come!

The Gts wr m ( i supposed yur saying that one) has weaker magnets then the GTs3m. It’s feel is sort of the same with the GTS3 (Jperm btw). It all boils down to personal reference. You want a tactile feel? YJ. Want a weaker magnet strength? Wrm. For me get the YJ

One question: Do roux solvers get harder M moves when using magnetic cubes?
It depends on the cube. I use the GTS2M and the M moves are fine. But it depends on the speed and the magnet strength

It's not really that hard, imo the magnet makes the feel of M slice more fun & satisfying to turn.
I've never had a problem with magnet strength. You just have to get used to it. You can learn how much force to put into a flick for your slices. Even with strong magnets i can still manage an M'3 if i flick hard enough. Why would you ever do M'3 you ask? Cause i hate M.

What is the difference between elasticity and tension?
MyVeryOwn I think tension is how tight the screws are (maximum distance the pieces can move) and elasticity is how tight the springs are (how easily to pieces can shift around)

I'm not a speed cuber, I'm more interested in the mechanical aspects and superficial appearances. All of these cubes look alike, at least at first glance.
Form and function. It's not surprising to hear about people loosing their cubes at competitions. It's most probable explanation is someone grabbing what looked to be their cube, and that's again because how similar these all look.
Let's see some asthetic changes for non competition use, same mechanics. Use the "Competition-Colors" (BOY) for comps and practice.
Whenever new cubes are announced, as a non-speed cuber, I'll look and never purchase because I've got several others that...."look just like that".
I also like that before i start cubing, i don't know whats the difference of cubes but, when i start cubing and start getting faster, i can compare the feels of cubes and find the differents.
