Just gotta say i love Nicci, for some reason she reminds me of Teena Marie (could be the 'white' thing in a predominantly 'black' 80's soul/funk groove)! Got another 1986 tune from her called 'Can't get close to you' which is pretty awesome too; pity she got lost somewhere, because she surely deserved more acollades. - เพลง

Absolutely LOVE this tune!! Got a 12" vinyl copy on the 'Debut' label but with a generic cover. Was very pleased to see that not only is she a talented vocalist but also a drop dead gorgeous babe to boot. I can see why ppl make the Teena Marie comparison but if you ask me, Nicci is much more beautiful.

For the record I do not like this song, but I like her voice. I had to look her name up. Something interesting came up. She was part of the 90s group Brownstone. I do like one song from them and it is the vocal. Also, when I first saw her, I thought she was Latino, than white and now I'm guessing biracial. Anyone who knows more about her background, please reply.
