This gave me a great idea for a tabletop game where you have 12 hours until the final battle and each turn is an hour. You have 12 hours to explore and prepare yourself and you die at the end or you don't.
There’s a Roguelite game called Atomicrops that has a pretty similar gameplay loop. During the day you’re free to go to the town, explore the land, kill enemies, or focus on building your farm, and you only have a few minutes each day until it becomes night and enemies launch an attack on your farm
Also this game called 60 seconds where you are given 60 seconds before a Nuclear strike to run around your house, collect your family and equipment, and make it into your bunker before the nuke hits. After that you have to make choices and survive as long as possible
