Ou te fa'amalo atu i le taumafaiga maoa'e a le fa'atonu aoao fa'apea fo'i alo ma fanau i le foaga lupe. Fa'amalo le tausini-o ma le tautaia'e. Na'o o sio'u soso atu 1. O le taupou e fa'amane'ene'e ae le minoi tele. 2. E teuteu le ta'alo ma le loto maualalo. 3. E olioli malie ae aua le pisa o 4. Fa'ato'a vivini o le toa ina ua malo. Taupou motions/actions are gentle and discriptive, it expresses dignity, poise, and proudness. It's our pride a joy. Motions are soft and tender, slow in transitions, and sooth in royalty.
Great scene from what looks like an equally great production! Kudos to the entire cast and crew. I'm shocked that out of 50K+ views, I'm the first person to comment. Surely someone who's Samoan has something to say about this video?!?
It's ok to faaumu, but not faaumu every single second of the song, Samoan tradition, people love to SEE the way the taupou makes her gracious moves, and hear the Pese, with minimal faaumu's, other than that, performance was very nice
Sa'o lelei. The only time the audience should faaumu is during the taualuga. Otherwise they should just watch and listen. Gets really annoying hearing nonstop faaumu from the audience.
