Thank you so much for your video review! It's a good presentation!
Normally the gear should be installed with the teeth outward. If it is installed with the teeth inward as in the video, it looks the two gears can mesh only little teeth. Perhaps this is the reason for why the focuser will stall when powered by USB port?

Many thanks for the comment, Yes, this was done as the flat part on this scope focuser shaft was not long enough for the set screw to sit on, so I turned it around and moved out slightly, and got almost full teeth engagement, but I now notice you supply a spacer for this purpose, also I think the reason for the stalling was underpowered USB hub used to test.

​@@Astro_Shed Yes, we supply the gasket (spacer) which can be inserted between the Oasis focuser body and the clamp. It's the solution for those focuser shafts which have imcomplete flat part. We can send one to you🙂

Interesting form factor. Like the fact it can be powered by USB and 12V DC and has some "crash control" built in. More expensive than others, but very easy to move from scope to scope, which is pretty nifty and certainly adds value/usefulness. Cheers for sharing mate!

Thanks very much for the comment, yes, it has some great features, and like you say east to swap to a different scope without having to take the rig apart, can be done when on the mount with no issues if needed, CS 👍🏻
