    I am a practicing Irish zCatholic living in NYC for many years my fiends are annoyed at me. I think these bands are terrific Well presents and well drilled that are addictive. One question; why do they play “ Anchors aweigh”?

      Longfordboy we are not catholic we are of Protestant faith there has been a long divide between Protestants and Catholics in Northern Ireland

      @@longfordboy2538 Not sure how that guy missed the point but i'm glad you're enjoying our bands. You should visit and see them live one day!
      They play Anchors Aweigh because it's a damn good march! But, there is a big Ulster-Scots (Scots-Irish in USA) connection with the USA. The American Revolution has been called a "nothing less than a Scots-Irish Presbyterian Rebellion" by some.
