This song had me in tears the whole way through. Every line told a perfect story of one of my biggest insecurities, which is being completely invisible and unwanted by everyone. My biggest fear in life was being forgotten. I say was because i refuse to let myself be forgotten. Im a 21 y/o with autism, bipolar, and ADHD, and i refuse to let any of that get in my way. To everyone who feels like their forgotten, make it a goal in life not to be.

I look forward to every song being released, but this one hit me so much harder than I ever would have anticipated. This couldn't have been released at a better time. My depression just relapsed and I felt every word of this song because God, sometimes I really do just feel unwanted because I can never seem to be good enough for my mother and it hurts so bad. I spent so many years fighting this cycle. PTSD and depression turned me into a shell, an empty husk of who I used to be. It wasn't until about 7 years ago when I met my (now wife) guardian angel. She saw me, she heard me, and she went so far out of her way to SHOW me I was wanted, that I was needed. Much love guys.

This song really portrays how I've felt with my "friends" that I used to hang out with...it almost felt like they were my friends just out of pity. Then they suddenly stopped inviting me to hang outs, I'd constantly see them posting online about their fun times without me. I'm always constantly asking myself "What did I do? What had I said?" It hurts to think about. I felt abandoned and unwanted.

I love how many songs he's written that made it's way into this one. I love how they're not afraid to repeat lyrics from their other songs like every other band is
This song is both a hurt and a comfort to me because 90% of the time I feel like just another book on a dusty shelf in the library that hasn't been opened in years. Its comforting to stay the same but also real painful to constantly be overlooked and then be treated like an attention seeker when you do or say something.
Listening to your songs allows me to maybe understand why my Nick took his life...We all miss him. He was wanted in our lives and never invisible to his family. Keep up the therapeutic songs. We all need them! And thanks for reaching out to us that need your guidance 🙏.

This is a message for people suffering as described by the lyrics of the song.
Depression is just another obstacle in life. Whether it be a large boulder blocking your path through a canyon, or the demons in your head. There are always ways to get through. Time is never ending. Take all the time you need. But also, there will be the time where you meet someone that helps you out. Always.
I was amongst the people with depression until 3 years ago. But it wasn’t nearly as horrible as the positions other people were in. After my case, I grew into who I am now - putting my sincere heart into this message so the people who are suffering can hear what I'm saying.
It truly will go away. All the pain and misery, the darkness and the void. Just keep tugging onto that glimmer of hope that someone will walk up to you, ask what’s going on, and sit down next to you and listen to you.
I'm glad that when I got out of depression, it made me empathetic, open-minded, forgiving and sincere. But all of that came from my choice of wanting to get out of my depression, looking for that one person who would listen, and finally relieving myself of such demonic thoughts. It’s a miracle that happens, either by looking yourself or waiting for someone looking for you.
I found this quote: “Be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody.“ Truly, it is a sentence worth a heartfelt meaning for people.
Don’t give up just yet. There is somebody out there who will sit down next to you just to listen to you and help you. I send my virtual hug to you and everyone else reading this. Keep hanging in there and take care. ❤️
This is the reason why I love your songs. Your music really connects to people, especially those who have felt or are still feeling like this. I have felt like that so many times in the past and even sometimes now, to both my family, my friends, and just life itself and wonder sometimes why am I even born, was my birth a mistake, am I just a burden to everyone around me, or would anyone care if I died 😢

The timing on this song could hardly have been better. Last night was the loneliest and most worthless I’ve felt in a very long time. I wound up breaking down and cutting myself for the first time in probably three months, and that didn’t help the mindset of never being good enough or able to accomplish anything.
This morning at school, my two friends that always sit with me in the morning got into a fight and both walked away. I felt so lonely, even in a crowd of a hundred people. I constantly feel isolated because my parents’ rule is that I’m not allowed to be happy unless I have good grades, and I’m not always a stellar student because I lose my motivation to even try sometimes.
And then, barely a minute after my friends walked away, I got the notification that this song had been released. This glorious song, that so perfectly described my feelings and made me know that I’m not alone.
Thank you so much, Citizen Soldier, for everything you’ve done. Every song you release is an absolute masterpiece that makes trying a little easier. Words can hardly begin to describe the impact you’ve had on my life💜
