I just bought the goal zero 200x. It is very much all I need for living in my car or back country camping. However, I also have a secondary automotive gel battery in my car with an isolator and a 300w power inverter. Even before I bought the 200x, I never had an issue with power. But these little guys are so great because of their size, features and weight. Fits in my backpack with my gear and only about 5 lbs.
You just help me make up my mind I do a lot of camping with my two kids so obviously there are phones and other things to charge but I think I'm going to designate this one for my projector and DVD player. I'm hoping to at least get a night or two out of it it doesn't pull a lot so we will see. Our new tent has a nice little projector screen so it's kind of a surprise for the kids and it will make winding down in the evenings a little better lol they and to get a little crazy once they go in the tent. Thanks so much for the review! Purchasing now.
I have a Jackery 300 with a jackery 100 watt solar panel and it powers my iceco 45LPro fridge all weekend long , the fridge draws 32 watts and the solar panel is on average 40 to 50 watts so it makes what the fridge draws so im good and i use it with the pass threw from jeep to jackery to fridge night time then back to solar in day time for as long as im out fishing or camping whatever , then i plug it in my jeep while driving 👍
Dude, you brought up something that blew my mind. You pointed out that the power stations with just the cord charger like my Bluetti AC180 won't charge when connected to my truck AC outlet. There's some kind of magic in those big brick chargers like you said. I'm glad I watched your video because I'm leaving on a trip and my AC180 would not have charged while driving.
I run a Jackery 300. And run a smaller 21 quart fridge off of it. I use the pass through charging feature a lot. So usually it goes Jeep>jackery>fridge and other accessories. When I get to camp, I unplug it from the Jeep and run everything off the battery, and it has no issue running it through the night. I also carry a 100 watt panel if I decide to stay more than one night.
I appreciate the review, always adds more options and pushes all manufacturers to improve. This one is a contender but compared to the Bluetti EB3A, not quite there yet. I like it has bi-directional USB 'C' charging, wireless charging and the Xt-60 connector, I do not like the 110 Vac, only 65 watts on USB 'C', and the charging brick which you still have to carry and keep track of and is lower output. Overall, it appears to be a solid unit. Thanks for your time to review.
Those smaller units are handy size-wise for charging assorted items (phones, fans, tablets). I take two EcoFlow River 2's with us. One for the grandsons using the rtt, and one for me in the squaredrop trailer. Use a bigger EF (Delta 2, or Delta 2 Max) for 12v fridge & Keurig duties.
The problem with wireless charging, is that at least 20% is wasted through heat. If you want to maximize the power in the most efficient way possible, it always use a cable to charge your phone.
Hi, I purchased the power station Enernova 600w and within the first week had issues with the AC outlets. Since, I didn't purchased thru their website or Amazon the warranty doesn't cover it and wont get tech support from them. I want to repair it myself, but need to know the tool that I need to remove the lid. If you happen to know I'd appreciated your help. Thank you.
Great video as always. We just picked up the Eco Flow delta max 2. However I have a side note quick question. If you don’t mind. Who do you get your meat orders from. Thank you.
I have to wonder how long I could power 2 CPAP machines. One can run off 12v or 120v, the other needs 120v or 24vdc. Best case, one off 12v the other off 120v. If it could power for 2 machines for 2 nights, that would be great. I carry a 750w inverter in the Gladiator currently, so charging a power station wouldn't take long on the road.
Noticed you said you have a modified sine wave inverter in you gladiator and not a pure sine wave inverter . Is there a preference for that or is it a factory option ?
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures i have an old mod sine inverter I inherited from my dad but I don't really want to use it with my setpower fridge so I'm saving to get a pure sine inverter
Since it doesn't have the % battery indicator, if it has 4 bars and it shows 1 bar, 2 bars, 3 bars; wouldn't it make sense that 1 bar = 25%, 2 bars = 50%, 3 bars = 75%, 4 bars = 100%.
Thanks for your review!! Our ETA series all use LiFePO4 battery, safer and more reliable! Hope you guys enjoy it😁

Nice I wanted something to power a refrigerator which I don't have either still looking
Great review. I think this seem perfect for long weekend trips to keep the electronic items running.
We use a similar unit for camping. It will run my CPAP for two nights along with charging phones and operating an LED lamp. Not bad at all.

That's most likely because your truck AC is modified sine wave. Most OEM are.

I never heard of these guys either, oddly enough I uploaded a review video for a power supply today as well. Too funnny. Thanks for sharing this Matt.

Good review. I use my Ecoflow 258w to run fridge with a 100w solar panel. Unless a serious overcast will run for months.
Love the work Matt!
Hi Matt, very cool product! Thank you for sharing!😊

i use a bluetti EB3A for the iceco go20 and a small kettle during pitstops in the cab of the truck.

Are you referring to the Bison I used to cook a lot?
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures Yes sir. Looks awesome. We just may have to order some. Thank you

My first power station was a 300 watt or so Rock Solar. It has the 5 lights to show the power. Not a big deal really but yea, should have had a %.
Matt what size fan was that you where using?
Curious to how well it could handle cpap machines.
Depends…. For me it’s not enough. But for others it maybe.
Noticed you said you have a modified sine wave inverter in you gladiator and not a pure sine wave inverter . Is there a preference for that or is it a factory option ?
That's the factory inverter in the cab. My inverter in the bed is one I added and it's pure sine.

That's a nice small one,
That's what she said. Can I still say that? Oh God don't cancel me.🥺

So you are a fan of this model? No issues or concerns?
No issues yet. So far so good.

It has 5 bars.
Whoa
i hate to say / this but there is no way that a company would reach out to you to review any items
Well all the companies that do prove you wrong. 🤷🏼♂️😂
Matt…
yes?
Lol. Sorry brother I fell asleep, LOL.
Ask you later 🤭
