Mom's favorite song from Frankie. I Finally got to bring her to see him live in Boston in March '24. Great show. All she wanted was to hear this song. When he sang it, she had the biggest smile on her face, with tears in her eyes. It was so great to give her that first joyous beautiful moment again since Dad passed. ❤
This song always reminds me of my childhood friend when I was in the 3rd grade. He was the best looking boy in my class, and it was me he chose to play with each day at recess. We were so innocent, and carefree! He moved the next year, and I was heartbroken. Wherever you are Chad, I hope you are well! 😊
I adore this. 'My Eyes Adored You', shamelessly tugs at the heartstrings with a swooning, yearning string arrangement, as Frankie rhapsodizes around delicate guitars and lazy harmonicas - a man reminiscing about the love who got away.
My wife teaches and preaches at a federal prison. She very seldom will sing. I heard her today under everyone else's voice. Did my heart good. This song reminds me of the feeling I get when she sings
This song has always reminded me of her; she really was in 5th grade and I was in 6th when we came to be. Well, we went our separate ways, and now, over 50 years later we are talking again. We still live very near each other, and we are both single at this point in our lives. We both want to see each other and get to know each other again; we shall see where it leads!!!
Oh, from Australia please let me know how it went. I so hope that it worked out. I was madly in love when I was 7 and so was he with me. His name was David Royce and his family moved and my little heart was devastated. I am now 63 and have never forgotten him and wonder if he ever thinks of me. ❤
This song was also very much a part of my early childhood. When I was young my mom didnt drive and had no washer and dryer. My parents relationship even back then was tumulteous ( even though they stayed married) my uncle would come and get my mother and my sister and I in his truck and bring us to my grams to do laundry. Often this would be playing on his radio and he would sing to me.
I'm 600 miles from the pretty little girl I adored in high school. We met up at our 40th class reunion and confessed to each other how much we were in love back then and broke up from a misunderstanding. Our love continues via cards in the mail. My eyes adored her, though I never laid a hand on her, my eyes adored her!
Saw him live when he came to Guernsey This song has such meaning to me Still can't forget him ,a guy I loved and always will 45yrs later still think of him Jenny Guernsey 🇬🇬 ♥ ❤

My childhood was listening to Frankie Valli and the 4 seasons, my Dad would have it on repeat. I had the chance to take my Mum and Dad for their 50th anniversary to the Trafalgar theatre in London last weekend to watch the Jersey Boys. Fantastic show!!
I remember this song in Summer of 1975 in Italy; I used to play it in the juke box at the beach, 'cause it was the favorite song of my crush, we were both 12 and I can still remind her
Say what you will.....this is pure example of a once young man crafting his talent rather than choosing to be a criminal like most of today's youth who drop out of school. Bravo Mr V!
Reminds me of my childhood friend, Wendy. She moved to Austin in 4th grade but we lost touch after high school. Thank you, Wendy, wherever you are, for providing some awesome childhood memories.

I love this song. His voice. Takes me back to a time I'll never get back such good songs.
One of the best love songs from the 70s!!! Another one that evokes the same emotions is I Go Crazy by Paul Davis
