My motherly sloth slowly did nothing around the house and slowly never came back into my life when kicked out by Dad since she did nothing but watch TV.

Baby cows too, but people tie up baby cows to where they can't move then they kill them as babies to sell the meat, they deserve life too. Baby chicks are out into a gigantic blender while alive, a few minutes after hatching they are all blended up together to sell the meat for nuggets

Animals having reactions of gratitude is so interesting to me. I just saw a couple baby raccoons say thank you to a man after one of them almost drowned in his pool. The crazy part is is that when they returned to say thank you, it'd been long enough where the baby dried off and was fluffy again

I spent my life wishing this. Now it’s ending and things got worse. Worse than we ever could have imagined back then. We thought it was bad in the 70s but that was nothing. Now I wish that people like you stay the way you are and you never lose hope that somehow, some way, we will live together without destroying the planet and harming animals for entertainment or enjoyment. You can count on me to keep that hope alive & a priority, but I too now find myself saying things my parents would say about the world back in the day. It's easy to become cynical with all the negativity, but with hope comes possibility. I'm sorry to hear that your journey maybe coming to an end. Just don't be afraid and trust in God. I'm sorry if it annoys you that I seemingly needlessly inserted the motive of religion into the discussion, but from personal experience I realized that He is the only one who can and will one day transform this world into a perfect place where Love will be continuously shared in harmony and where there will not be pain, suffering, sadness and so on.
Simply, no matter how hard we try, people will never be able to build a 'perfect kingdom' on their own because of their imperfect nature, whatever 'perfect' ideology and state system we devise sooner or later will not be sustained precisely because we are all imperfect and do not have the ability to fully to suppress our sinful nature, so to speak the evil that we all have more or less within us, therefore we need someone who is absolutely unlimited and perfect, who is the very source of love in order to achieve to cleanse us all of our imperfection and establish a perfect world, as should have been at the beginning.
I repeat once again, I apologize if I caused you discomfort, but I wanted to offer a word of support to such wonderful people as you, for whom this insidious world and today's age constantly disturbs the inner peace and the vision of eternity that gives man the motivation to fight against evil.

This is the second short I’ve seen where a sloth reaches out it’s hand to thank a human. The other video was a man who rescued a sloth on a road and carried it across and put it up a tree. Amazing interaction! ❤

So, after reading the comments under mine I googled this sloth behavior. When they reach out like this, they’re trying to make themselves appear larger than they are. They have no natural defenses and they are stressed when they reach out. It’s not cute, not funny, they don’t want a hug or to touch our hand. They’re scared. It’s best to leave them alone. If their baby falls, let them retrieve it. Personally, I would only intervene if one was trying to cross a busy road. Otherwise, let nature and the sloths take care of themselves.
That's because they are mostly docile & a bit curious, and haven't been infected with the virus called man.
But, you really wouldn't want to encounter or make one angry. Because, they will shred you with all 4 of their long claws.

Sloths normally never climb down trees to pick up their young when they fall, because it's too dangerous. So it'd be most likely a death sentence for the baby if that man hadn't come along and helped. ❤

Normally, they leave them since it takes so long, but they look protected, and she definitely went to get the baby. I'm glad he was there!

This is the purest, most beautiful form of love I have seen in a long time. With a world so full of hate..... to see this kind of love and thankfulness (on the part of the human and the sloth mom) is so beautiful. This helps to bring light back into a dark world. The baby was trying to poo, sloths need to go to the bottom to poo so the moms wait for them right by the bottom to watch while they learn. The mother sloth reached her hand to show her defence. The baby would have gotten to her just fine🤣💀
