One of the best games I shouldn't be playing as a kid.
Studies have shown that there is literally no link between video games, and violence caused by mental illness. If anything. A little game time a day for the kids helps build imagination and curiosity
That being said, I still take breaks from games like this. 😂😂

The Leviathan Axe might offer more tactical variety in terms of gameplay, but the chain blades and quick-time events had awesome cinematic flair. Kratos reminded me a more vicious and brutal version of Spider-Man... and it was very fun to watch.

I haven't played either of the reboot games, but I have watched gameplay videos -- and the cinematic flair for the Blades of Chaos is still absent. The reboots are just fundamentally different games (I'm not saying they're bad, though).
@@The_Isaiahnator The thing is... They're not reboots. They're direct sequels. Everything that happened in the games before the 2018 one still happened.

Story-wise, you're right. But gameplay-wise, they changed the formula to a Bloodborne/Dark Souls-esque game. The originals drew more inspiration from Devil May Cry. Once again, I'm not saying this is a bad thing. After 7 games of the Greek era using the same formula (4 console releases, 3 mobile releases), the games had fallen into a rut and needed a fresh reinterpretation.
The presentation between the Greek era and the Norse era was different as well. The over-the-top cinematic flair of the originals would fit perfectly in any of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies or Zack Snyder's action movies, while the latter era used a single-take approach to its cinematic style, seamlessly segueing cutscenes into gameplay and making the games feel more grounded (they'd fit perfectly with something like _Children of Men_ or _1917.)_ Either way, Santa Monica Studio has shown its love for cinema.

Say what you want about QTE's cheapening the experience of games they made me feel like a freaking beast in this game.
The very first one is hilarious. The Hydra smacks it's head against the ceiling and Kratos is like uhseeya.
Props for picking all the best tracks from the game. In great order as well💯💯💯

I own and have beaten the original two games on my PS2, and after getting your ass handed to you you get to perform more-violent-than-fatality moves on the enemies. So rewarding >:D
But that damn Tower of Blades in Hades...
Kratos needs to be in every modern television show...especially Glee.

Would you, please, make another video of god of war 1 2 in hd about the movies and cutscenes in hd? including some of the most incredible zones of the game. I need it to make good videoclips in a good quality, you wont be disappointed.
I like how you kill legionnaire captains, first you weaken them and slam them to the ground then you held their right arm with the sword to make them impale themselves with it.
Considering how he pulls the biggest monsters around, I'm surprised he doesn't just punt the legionnaires out of his way
