Sorry it's been a while I've been going through some health issues but I'm back and I missed you all so much
Today I've been playing with my @CreativeExpressions Stamps by Taylor made journals and wow I love them they were just screaming out for a vintage passport and you know me and vintage documents lol

One quick tip for you when making vintage items like the passport or ID cards or vintage mail/postcards: there was no such thing as a bar code back then, so putting that on a vintage item makes no sense. It’s like having a photographic picture alongside “paintings from the 17th century”.
Barcodes were not invented until the 1950s and didn’t become commercially viable until the 1970s.

I am with you on getting the stamps back into the packaging. Lots of blue air in the kitchen! 🤬 and I too use the heat tool for embossing because it’s here and the heat gun is waaay over there. This has been fun to watch. A ton of Toni grungyness !!!🎉 Well done, lovey!!!❤

Having the pages upside down makes it look more authentic. Nobody's perfect! Hope you continue to get better and find out what's wrong. Spending time in a hospital bed stinks. I should know as I worked 24 yrs in a hospital!!!

Your passport looks awesome. I did try to made a simple ID card for my cat 🙃 for my pages where I put my cat in jail for making a mess of my livingroom 🤪😂. I would love if someone would come up with a set of small faces stamps for ID cards and such.

Wow, love your grunge, it's amazing. Your projects are just lovely. One small observation, barcodes weren't in common use until the mid-seventies so, it sort of messes up the antique look of your grunge.😊
Yes I know but it's just a craft project and the joy in that is it can be anything you want it to be, no rules in art just fun getting to deep into the little technicality's takes that away ☺️

I hope you are feeling better!! I know I am four months late. Love this project. I also love your vintage/aged tape. I just purchased a lot of old books that arrived today, and one of them has old tape all over it and it looks just like your creation!! You did such a wonderful job replicating the age and look of it! I cannot wait to make this project.
