The back of the Native American Medallion is tanned deer hide. Most Native American beaders "sign" their pieces with a couple of beads, they may be out of order or a slightly different color and/or shape .
I was going through a tin of jewelry earlier and found a bunch of silver earrings and a pair of 10k medium size hoop's! No one to share my joy with, I had to tell someone!
Sally, i love your videos, you are such a fun person. I sometimes binge on them. It would be awesome to have an awesome huge curio cabinet and place some of your vintage items to display them, for example those picture frames. 😊
55:25 It's St. George killing the dragon. "São Jorge", as it is spoken here in Brazil, is very known in Candomblé and in all country. There are many debts to "São Jorge" around here, in Brazil. You can see him killing the dragon while looking at the moon.
I've watched many of your videos and others. You have the best camera work! Love that you take your time and you have a great sense of humor! Keep those bags coming!!
Hi Sally if your wondering what to do with scrap cheap watches. Put them aside and at a later date remove the cogs and other interesting bits. Sell them off as Steam Punk craft lots. Love your videos. Watching from New Zealand.
Hi Sally. I missed you. Great finds. Boy those chickadee/sparrow frames are awesome and beautiful. Don’t blame you for snagging them. I’ll have to think of an awesome way to display them. See you soon. 💕🌹💕
Just a quick check-in! Watching and thumbs up for you and Carla. Please pass greetings to her. Recouping from hip surgery! My clumsiness has a high price sometimes!!! Did I say “ouch” ? Lol And, Happy Cinco de Mayo! Woooooooohoooooo!
My favorite items are the cloisonee earrings, the sterling silver locket, and the dark tone brooch with the AB crystals that you did not care for. I also liked two pierced, hanging earrings that did not have mates. At my age, I am realizing that many of the items I own are now vintage, lol! 💖🌸
LOVE that sweater clip. I would totally take that to a jeweler I go to that will attempt to match and reset/repair pieces that aren't really valuable due to damage, yet are still beautiful. Once I had it fixed I could then wear and enjoy it without the worries of harming it I would have if it were not a repair piece. If I didn't already have a cardigan it'd look great with I'd probably buy one haha.
Would really help a lot if while you are discussing you gave an idea- ballpark amount or even a dollar range you hope to get for the piece in your hand. Trying to learn values too. Thanks.
Hi Sally, that ring around 40:00 is one I had years ago. I ordered it from an ad in a magazine. It seems like it was about $30 or so back in the 80s, brand new. It was like one of those Franklin Mint ads or something. I'm sure I still have it around here somewhere.
At around 58:00 that red plastic necklace might be valuable, a video I watched last year the guy sold his for around $500! Ugh, bet Angie remembers his channel name he always is putting down his wife in his videos! Such pretty sweater clips/guards, definitely worth fixing! I think you do have the matching Coro necklace to those earrings, looks familiar! ; )
Maybe it's an ADD thing but I like the sounds from opening bags and jars and the sounds of the jewelry as it's handled . I loved seeing all that jewelry at once :) Those paper frames would be neat to frame a mixed media art piece :) See you next video :)
Your expandable heart bracelet is a sweetheart bracelet, popular during the war years. The manufacturer name on the band is only for the band, not the heart itself.
Having fun re-watching this video. You are always so fun! When did you start your jewelry bag/box/jar/chest/garage/locker/silo/fallout shelter/nuclear bunker openings? Do you have a bugout jewelry pack? lol lol lol. Bjai
@@VintageDiscoveries I'm glad to hear you didn't. I did'nt know about Majoirca pearls either until I googled them a few months ago. Glad I did because I love collecting vintage and antique jewelry. Have a wonderful evening!
? not true I never said I knew everything about jewelry , my viewers do help because everyone’s level of information is different and there’s nothing wrong with that . also , it’s taken me over 2 years to get where i am and i’ve earned every subscriber I have . Try to be nice , it costs you nothing .
The Morpho butterfly wing jewelry was popular from 1920-1060, both plain and painted. Now there ethically made Morpho wing jewelry. There are butterfly farms, mostly in Europe. Butterflies are allowed to live out their lives, and die naturally at about 120 days.
Hi Sally, I love the way you are so relaxed. Brody seems like a large pup, his crunching was hilarious. Loved the video, please make more. Could you please let me know the name of your Etsy store, do you sell any place else? Thank you, Carol
Carol Massie Hi carol thanks 🙏🏼 yes he’s pretty big n adorable. i sell on etsy n ebay lots of things i haven’t listed yet so if u see it in a video but not in my store just let me know . my store links r in the ABOUT section of my channel but i will put the link in the description. :)

Just catching up with your uploads.... fun stuff! Btw, are you sure that those peacock beads are broken? Just looks like a weird clasp. They are neat . I love the butterfly wing jewelry too-you were the one that got me started on it! Don’t forget to save your butterfly brooches for me!
Sally, this is my first time to visit your channel. Don’t normally comment. Couldn’t help myself I was mesmerized by your passion and your haul. I would like to know about your Auction coming up. I loved the St.. George, the knight & Dragon pin, the Mt. Rushmore tie clip, Mustard Seed, & the greenish stone bracelet. Like I said first timer... Enjoyed ❤️☘️🐉
thank for watching! We’re trying to sch the auction for this thursday, i’ll announce the exact time on my you tube later today . i have An Etsy store and eBay the links are in my about section on my TH-cam. If you’re interested in something that’s not on my stores you can email me at hellokitty40@gmail.com. thanks for watching and commenting .
The backs of jewelry are just as important as the front. The better it's construction and level of detail that went into making that piece, the higher the value. Particularly in broaches. The colorful broach at 38.24 I've heard someone call it a fruit salad setting.
Again, as to the rustlings and jewelry clickclackings, I really like them as long as it is not so loud as to drown out your voice. Also for me when you pull out and get mesmerized by your treasures, it makes my mind so down and appreciate. Behave yourself and try not to comment on slowing down my brain! Lol. I also understand how some individuals could feel pain from loud or distracting sounds. My vote is still for sharing life notes! Be safe. Bjai
How often do you buy jewelry bags and where? No where in my area has jewelry bags just individual pieces I.have to.pace my viewing so.I dont know how recent the.videos are. THIS WAS A GOOD BUY Do you actually sell all your buys or keep or give away?
Get my bags ever week or sometimes give it a rest for a week or 2 . an old little antique shop in NY . thanks for watching . yes my shop links are in the about tab on youtube.
Hi the gold color back piece looks like it goes to the gold rose . More like a pin than an earring. Just found Your channel. Great ....Really liked the green rectangular stone necklace. Nancy from Massachusetts.

I have almost the same exact Indian beaded necklace my brother and sister-in-law bought it for me in Vermont I believe back in maybe the early seventies I still have it and I will never part with it
I saw yesterday that I also had an brooch with the dragon and the knight. Found out that it is called Saint George instead of Saint Joris. My translation was not that good, to Dutch :) . In my country the Netherlands it's called St Joris en de draak .

Have you ever found a piece that was very valuable? I'm interested in buying jewelry and am wondering if I could possibly find a piece that is really valuable or does the thrift store or antique store check it first.
Thta yellow gold rose, shown roughly at 32:00 looks to be a pin, not an earring. That sharp point is a give away. However, I suppose if you come across another one, you could try to wear them as earrings. 🤣😂🙌🏼🙌🏼😉
52:34. Can you tell me anything about the silver tone swirl link bracelet. I believe I have one very light in weight and says made in west Germany. Is that actually anything?
I love the sound of pets crunching on their food; makes me happy 🐶.

Yes you can find jewelry that's worth something when you shop at good will stores I found 4.5 elegant bracelets and I was suprised.
What treasure you found!!! Such fun!!! Lol
I think the red and gold sweater guard is probably the prettiest one I have seen. Bjai. Thank you Miss Sally dear! Please take care and be safe. Bjai
LOVE that sweater guard, that would totally be worth repairing/saving~! the brooch at 55:47 is a depiction of St. George fighting the dragon :)

It would be awesome to have an awesome huge curio cabinet and place some of your vintage items to display them, for example those picture frames. 😊
So much interesting and pretty things. Thank you for all!
The Majalaka bead necklace is made by the Majalaka glass co! Hope you saved those beads! Each one's a treasure!
Last year I picked up 6 stretch band bracelets at the Dollar Tree that look just like your Majolija (no I’d tags of course) very heavy so beautiful.

I love the the vintage. I hope you go through it all. I think you may have have some great stuff. I think the one marked Thailand is gold
Check the shamrock bracelet. Although it has wear and chunks missing out of it, it isnt discoloured on the missing pieces and looks like gold to me,
Congratulations on your 3k. Beautiful and unique discoveries in every bag.

The shamrock and rhinestone necklace my 2 favorites!
The pearl tie was worn by ladies. I had one in high school in the 1960s you have great jewelry in this haul.

I just discovered jewelry bag hauls on TH-cam and you are my favorite. Do you sell your crafting pieces and, if so, where?
I love the garnet brooch
Hi, the tiny necklace with the cross, anchor and heart is called a faith, hope and charity necklace and is often given to infants on their christening.
At around 51 the long chain is for a purse, that's why it has a clip on each end 💜
The pin you have with the guy on the horse ,it is George and the dragon 🐉 over here in the UK 🇬🇧 it is a holiday, st George's day .

What you often call fur or sweater clips are actually shoe clips to dress up plain black pumps when travelling by steamship i imagine.
Majorca pearls are the best simulated pearls in the world, often paired with 925

Pearl necktie...very 90s *power suit*. They were never a good idea. Re: the blue cufflinks. Women also wore white shirts with "feminine cufflinks".

The rose yellowy coloured brooch is Bakelite. Possibly made in Japan.
Old white beads, I like 'em
YOUR GREEN THING AT THE END IS ADVENTUREINE STONE. NOT SURE ABOUT SPELLING.
Please check those pearls that say Majolica I think they are valuable😻😻😻
It is Majorica :)
55:37 = St. George and the Dragon. I don't really know the story, but you can find it online.
St George (patron saint of England) and the Dragon. T x
I would wear that first necklace.
St George, and the Dragon? ☘ T x
Black round brooch likely rainbow obsidian, Rose is likely bakerlite

The seed necklace that was in the tangle with the “maybe” necklace, those are apple seeds.
Appleseed necklaces sold to tourists in Philippines for 50 cents each in 60s. Does that (haha) make it vintage?
