So I believe the madeyes forgot to fix a chair nearby and when he realized he figured forward would probably struggle free with Gardner there to harass even if he drops and fixes. So I can only assume his plan was to redown the forward (hence trying to trap him and make him struggle) and then fix a chair and hopefully get a chair off with more chances.

i think it's not that they're not allowed to talk about lore, the lineup was being shown so eli just wanted to direct and focus their conversation on that

Technically speaking sprintzer didn’t give up at all the reason he picked clown is because he knew the survivors would bring broken windows to counter wax which is why he picked the hunter that gets heavily countered by flywheel
Ppei TOP S1 NAIAD in Cn server for the longest time ever, and this is his First COA, the survivors are from other professional teams like Weibo and Dou5, they are strong and solid , but since this was a Hunter carry meta survivors really needed to stand up and thats what they did
because survivors knew it was Mad Eyes. not only is this hunter known for playing Burke, the map is Eversleeping which is the best map for Mad Eyes. all they had to do was go with Mad Eyes counters and they did. additionally, Mad Eyes isn't a strong hunter despite what some of you think. survivors were on VC and were patiently depleting the energy (leaving him without abilities) and meeting for heals. he's still a very skilled player. he is very knowledgeable about the map layout and has fast reflexes. the match was great to watch even if he couldn't win.
Uh...B4U is already representing NAEU. Same with Omni. They're already there. They're literally physically in China playing, which is what representing NAEU is. In order for them to NOT be representing NAEU, they would have had to not qualify in the regionals.

For the Chinese players, they get paid to play this game like a job and compete in tournaments year around. It's that serious for the Chinese teams. Meanwhile NAEU gets 1 tournament specific to NAEU per year. The other regions play this game on the side along with school, work, etc. If NAEU or the other regions were given the funds to be able to play this game full-time then maybe they'd have a chance against China.

global ban only applies to survivors. hunters can play the same character as long as survivors don't ban them

the first two survs picked can’t be picked again for the rest of the rounds
when survivors are picking their characters, the first two characters picked get banned for the rest of the match
