Actually it should be negative(4th quadrant), MATHEMATICALLY as the angle is -invtan(1/wRC) And 2nd as Sir told in his video the concept of phasor diagrams, we know that capacitive ckt are leading power factor ckt, and for leading power circuit impedance lags and we are drawing impedance locus diagram so impedance locus diag should be downwards.
Sir at 29:50 in impedance locus diagram of RL circuit Z=R+j(omega)L where omega(w) is variable so as we increase omega only imaginary part of Z will increase at constant value of R so I think sir only vertical line should be the locus. Correct me if I am wrong.. Thank u sir
I have the same issue. Also by using practical graph as sir suggested, the Megnitude of Z is decreasing by increasing Imaginary part of Z at some points. Please correct if we are missing something.

Neha Gupta ..angle written by sir is correct. If multiply and devide by R+1/jwc then you will find angle of numerator is +tan inverse (1/wrc) and now denominator became a real value hence angle 0. So the total angle is tan inverse (1/wrc)... Hope u understand

I= V/[ R-J/(WC) ] , using this find the angle.. if you take tan inverse of 0- (- 1/ RWC ) thn whole angle will come out positive. i hope you got that.
That's a silly mistake. It will be - tan inv( 1/ RwC)
Tan inverse(imag/real) as i=v/(r-j/wc)
-Tan inverse(-1/wcr)= tan inverse(1/wcr)

Impedance of capacitor is -j/wC or 1/jwC( obtained by multiplying numerator and denominator by j).
