  • Who Rules America: How Money Dominates Politics | Political System | ENDEVR Documentary from 2012
Episode 5 - Money dominates Politics.
Who Rules America? takes a comprehensive look into the governing system of the United States of America and reveals the behind-the-scene powers that rule the nation. There are two Americas; one in which people have freedom in choosing their leaders within the framework of the constitution living in the land of the free, and another, wherein all is dedicated to the ruling 1% and within which a hidden network of power governs including the media, Wall Street, the Military and Corporations. This expose from Danny Schechter (In Debt We Trust, WMD: Weapons on Mass Deception) lifts the lid on the true decision-makers behind the worlds self-proclaimed democratic role model.

More than money, it is knowledge that confers power. That is why the American people are not only kept ignorant but taught to be proud of their ignorance.

It is really all about who controls the monetary system. In the United States, Congress has Constitutional power "to borrow money on the credit of the United States" Figure out how that works, and you will understand how we became governed by greed.

Every time I see a discussion of this topic, people say 'you need money to run for office.' I have yet to see anyone back it up with any reasoning, and everyone just takes it for granted.
I can understand if they say 'politicians are pocketing the money,' but why on earth do you need so much money to run for office? If you have genuine solutions to address people's concerns, why do you need to keep saying it over and over, visit their town and all that junk? If that's more important to voters than solving actual issues, they deserve to suffer poverty and debt.

When I watch videos about money and it's usage, all I can say is that money never gets wasted. It just moves among billions of human population supporting everyone of us so that nobody will sleep hungry. When it comes to happiness, only Holy Spirit can completely fill the emptiness of one's heart contributing to true happiness. Every thing else is a show which is displayed by media and those who work for media also makes living out of it. So, everything is fair because humans can only eat limited food no matter how much money they got. Everyone leaves everything behind after this short life here on this planet.

Economic and political power need to be better distributed. ① Council Government, a voting circle of a mere 50 people. 50 Delegates form a local Government, large councils go out is sectors. Now you can replace your politician instantly. I think it probably isn't possible to have a democracy when a Nation gets above some 20-30 million. What this does, is it cuts out this breathing room that politicians abuse, between elections. ② The soil has to be distributed to all as an inalienable right, of the same value. Use can be zoned. You can rent it out. Land should not be taxed. This gives ordinary people a chance in the economy, and it de-escalates the centralization of wealth. You can and probably should do more, but these two might be the most impactful in the two spheres of power: economic and political.
By the way, the population also impacts the economic system and who ends up being rich, by their purchasing choices. I concur that the problem is the population, as they are in all Nations. It seems to be very difficult for people to listen to each other, and form a common ground conclusion, and then do something productive, _unless_ there is a lot of money in it in the short term. I think the problem in the world is a moral and interest deficit on the part of the populations at large. Who in our populations, goes as eagerly to political or action meetings, or good cause organizations to lend a helping hand, as people go out to drink beer, sit before the TV to watch soccer, and so on ? I know there is a lot of volunteers doing all kinds of good things, which also helps their own lives (as it should), but apparently it just isn't enough to save our Nations. The effort isn't there, by the common man. I guess we got the Government we deserve. I don't want to end this on a defeatist note, though. We should work on ourselves, so we deserve better, because this thing we have is going horribly wrong (like war and collapse wrong). Have a great day. Good docu too, thx. (market.socialism.nl)

Yes they did. The more I watch this.....I think maybe it's just because of the fact he wasn't towing the line. Just a thought, I dunno. Or maybe they just fell into the corruption themselves

They do run the country. They make it seem like its a democracy so that there isnt a huge uprising.
