- This is a full room tour of the brand new Little Mermaid themed rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. These were previously the Pirate Rooms and are still currently under construction. These rooms sleep up to 5 guests, but do not sleep up to 5 adults. The 5th sleeper is a child-size sleeper. As of now, these rooms cannot be booked separately, so you do have to just book a room and get lucky to get one of the new ones, but that means there's still a good possibility you'll get a non remodeled regular room at the resort. All the rooms being remodeled are in the Trinidad section. The room number is 3739.

I like that room, even though it has touches of Little Mermaid it still sticks with the Caribbean theme of the resort and isn't over the top.

I love them! Love how bright and colorful they are! I (and I’m sure many others) will miss the theming of the pirates rooms, but these are definitely nice and super cute!
We definitely miss the fact that the pirate rooms were so unique, but we thought Disney did a good job with the new theming here 😊

Wow, what a huge improvement. I hope renovations are coming to the rest of the resort as well, even if not exactly like this.
As of now, Disney doesn’t have plans to do the rest of the resort anytime soon, but we do hope it eventually happens. It’s very needed

@@joec1774 These style of rooms are only located in the Trinidad section of the resort. So if you want that style of room request that part!

I like redoing the the rooms to a brighter theme but Little Mermaid is not new. Imagineers can do better for a brighter theme than recycling another idea.
Also, I would like to see a Pirate theme for Caribbean Beach but more functional than the original.
Criticism aside, the room looks nice and the Murphy beds are great- comfortable to sleep on and an awesome space saver.
It’s definitely an improvement for size and design, but we do miss the pirate theme

Wish they would have added a chair somewhere in there. We always turn the chair and secure our son in the 5th sleeper bed. I like the brightness and sophisticated updates.

We think there will be eventually once the rooms are done, but for now, it’s luck of the draw
Really enjoyed your room tour. Those rooms look lovely. I love that they have put in a shower screen and replaced the curtain. The rooms look so much nicer than the old style. See that queen Murphy bed that folds down? Is it comfy? Is it as comfortable at the main bed in the room? We are staying for 16 nights so keen to check that the beds are comfy for both of us. I am travelling with my mum so need a bed each!
We've stayed at All Star Movies since the refurb and the pull down was very comfortable. Nice thick mattress😊
I follow someone who has already stayed here and there was a steamer included. I saw it in the closet with the ironing board😊
In this room it was actually a traditional steam iron in the bag. Lots of the newly remodeled rooms have switched to steamers though!
I want to stay there. I have never stayed in Trinidad, but I would like its remoteness.

@@HereWithTheEars but WHY is this one called a LM ROOM?!?! I sure hope you don’t tell your daughter that she staying in a little mermaid room to open up the door and see this and no Ariel anywhere to be seen. Soooo boring and lame. Where is the imagineering? 👎

It’s roughly 5 1/2 feet long. We’ve been told the intended weight limit is around 100 pounds.

We weren’t given an end date, but I’m sure it will still be a few months. There was a lot of construction around when we were there.

It’s not far depending on which building you’re in, but it’s basically across the bridge and you’re there 😊
I hate that they’re using beverage coolers and not actual fridges. Even the cheapest hotels have decent fridges and microwaves. It’s ridiculous that Disney doesn’t, especially at the prices they charge.

Boy they are really making rooms at Disney more bland, how this is a 'themed' room is beyond me, some stickers of Little Mermaid placed here and there. I loved the pirate rooms, so different and interesting
“Sad beige baby room” is my 16 year old daughter’s quote… where is the middle ground between dated rooms and modern Marriott remodels?!?! YUCK! The Art is Not Even Very Disney - it’s so muted! I can barely recognize Sebastian on the pull down.
It looks like a cheap motel room.
Why would anyone pay 4x-6x the cost of an off-property room, for *this* bland, boring, nothing box.
The magic is gone.
The creativity is gone.
The innovation is gone.
Oh, but it has a huge TV! 🙄
