I don't know why you stopped making more videos. This video is a saver. I'm going through some videos where they were making .sub files and later .asy for symbol I didn;t understand how they are mapping terminal/pins between .sub file and .asy file(symbol) But this video helps a lot with out creating .sub file(subcircuit) file and simple way of assigning pin names same for both files(net name) which makes easy to understand the pin mapping between schematic and symbol
Great explanation from you, and very helpful to me. Kindly explain how I can handle sub cct error message. It worked perfectly after creation but I could not use the symbol for other designs.
I was playing around in LTSpice the other day and created a very simple schmidt trigger and wanted to make it a hierarchical subcircuit but I got the classic "undefined subcircuit" error which you also get for example while trying to use the default ideal opamp without adding the .sub file with the .lib command... I don't understand why this might be the case (everything is in the same folder) only difference being I also added an instance name/label? do you have an idea why I have this problem?
