Pump Stacking! Yes, they stack ... but sometimes they do what you saw when you tried. I had the other experience; my first try, it worked, and I had stacks going. Then suddenly in one place it failed. Messed around for a long time, and could not work it out ... then hit "R" (it was a typo), the pump rotated, and it was able to stack. Odd. Was able to add many more, in the same (new) orientation. Tore it all down, and was able to stack all of them in the same (new) orientation. Very puzzling. Give stacking another try; if you lay them side by side, it will drive you crazy when you need lots.
@@Ragarath When I realized what I'd done, I was worried that we'd be limited to four in a stack, but I've been using stacks of 12 and 16. I admit to being mildly curious about what is going on under the covers here.
you need to hub the others for the sand on archive that's why there not emptying, also rotate 1 and raise by 1 for pumps to stack. and try not to build everything on sierra, you have plenty of floors below with endless of power
I would also suggest building your biodiesel plant on a separate floor, you'll need a lot, and you'll get bulk recipes for almost everything you'll need
@ragarath this replace mode bug you time stamped at 2:02 doesn't look like a bug to me because you are trying to replace the smelter mk2 with a blast smelter instead of the mk3 smelter you are intending to place, But you didn't have any of the blast smelters in your your inventory which is why it won't let you place it.

Someone else mentioned the rotating part. It seems that is the key to stacking.

Youve got all those red boxes now, you could chuck some extra sand in there. Easier than running all the belts.
Yes, I start doing this later. I haven't been able to upload the recent videos but I have started to. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yea I found the hub thing... eventually. Thanks for the info on how to stack.
To help stack sand pumps rotate the second one

@@darkmage36963 Biodiesel is currently on victor anyway. So will just create more room there (I assume)

Ahh that makes sense. The MKIIIs must not have shown up.
