Hello ASL Heroes!!! Hey, I could really use your help. If you’ve enjoyed having access to an expert in ASL you can help me continue my work for you. A small (or more if you can afford it) donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for Lifeprint.com. You can help out a humble (not to mention kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher -- just go here right now and a few clicks later you too will be a true “ASL Hero!” www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=64QMBRBXQSV6G Or, if you prefer "Cash App" you can use: cash.me/$Lifeprint Or use Patreon at www.patreon.com/ASLU Every little bit helps so much! Thanks! - Dr. Bill p.s. Want to have your very own USB drive with four semesters worth of ASL instruction for just $79.95? See "SuperUSB" in the ASLUniversity bookstore at: lifeprint.com/bookstore/bookstore.htm Take care and love to you all. :)
This is off subject. But after all these yrs of watching Bill, @ 09:30 this is the first time I notice the class reflection in the Monitor. Hi Everybody!!! :-)
These students... are so crazy lucky to have you, i honestly dont think they even realize. I have enjoyed all the deaf instructors i have had so far, but i will literally move to sacramento just to experience you as an instructor. it will make my asl education complete. do you teach above asl 1-4? i need you in my asl interpreting courses. Im looking you up now. im moving to sacramento.
Hello Darlisha! Thank you for the nice compliment! I look forward to meeting you someday. (Maybe best to wait until this pandemic is over though). As far as "looking me up" -- my contact information is at: www.lifeprint.com/asl101/pages-layout/contact.htm I'm not scheduled to teach any interpreting classes in the near future at my "day job" -- so I'm not sure how beneficial "moving to Sac" would be in terms of taking live classes from me. Plus rent out here is seriously expensive! As far as "online topics" in addition to "ASL 1 through 4" I teach a variety of subjects which can be found in my video repository at: th-cam.com/users/billvicarsvideos and in my playlists at: th-cam.com/users/billvicarsplaylists As an interpreting student you might like some of videos in my "vocabulary expansion series": th-cam.com/play/PL6akqFwEeSphFk5WhAsdppNjXwdQo2MLh.html Warm regards and best wishes to you in all your endeavors. - Dr. Bill

From watching previous lessons and seeing how you entertain, amuse, and teach at the same time.... I applaud your restraint at @21:56!! I felt like you wanted to raise your eyebrows (YES/NO?) and ask the student "you too?", but you didn't lol. This made me laugh because I think you really wanted to ask her but stopped yourself haha.
Trying to convey the phrase and/or meaning "wear my heart on my sleeve", signing word for word but leaving out "my"...did not work. Suggestions? Would post to Lifeprint FB but FB is kinda frowned on at work. Thank you.
"Wearing one's heart on one's sleeve" generally means to "make one's feelings apparent." A good sign for that is this one: th-cam.com/video/jZ11kR2yh9A/w-d-xo.html
Chelita, I recommend you visit this page and click on lesson 1: www.lifeprint.com/asl101/lessons/lessons.htm Or go to the Level 1 playlist: th-cam.com/video/k9cFqNYlV1A/w-d-xo.html If you don't know fingerspelling yet then you will want to learn that first. That is a great question! I have set up a Facebook group to provide assistance and feedback to individuals wishing to receive advice regarding ASL. If you haven't done so yet, you may wish to visit and apply to join: facebook.com/groups/Lifeprint.ASLU/ If you do wish to join please keep in mind that you will need to "read the rules" and answer a couple of questions during the application process. (If you don't answer the two questions the moderators tend to delete the application.) After you are a member of the Lifeprint-ASLU group feel free to post your ASL-related questions there after doing a search for the answer using the in-group search function (available on full-size browsers). You should receive some excellent answers. After a reasonable amount of time if you haven't received an answer from the group and if you still need my assistance feel free to tag me from within the thread. Warm regards, - Dr. Bill ___________________ William G. Vicars Ed.D.

Fuzz vs Beard--- excellent way to remember difference.
Enjoyed the lesson and cracked up at your jokes, thank you.

The struggle is real.
You are funny. Make me laugh most videos.
My son was hh until 1st grade. We used allot of sign without knowing what the real motions were.
