Thanks for the review Colin! That ruddy shark though. I never saw it messing about like it does in your video though. I should have drawn a Batman on a ladder as well 😮 The perfectionist in me will want to fix that, but i dread wading through my impenetrable code 😢 I'll let 'Nuni' know they've been roundly beaten as well 😅
Oh, I assumed the flying shark was intentional, like how in Chuckie Egg after you finish all the levels, the bird is released and flies around after you 😂 I quite like it, so I don't see it as necessarily needing to be "fixed" - nice little easter egg for anyone who plays far enough into the game. Thanks for making the game, it's great!
@@ColinHoadThanks. I showed it to my family on the big TV at home, they loved it. I think it was never clear to them what I was working on all that time ago, *now* it's clear. Now wondering if I can make it to the RISC OS London show and maybe, just maybe see the game on a proper Beeb? 🙏
@sassquadsteve oh how wonderful! I'm glad the video helped summarise the game for them 😄 Do say hello if you make it to the RISC OS show, I'll be there - aiming to arrive when it opens at 11am, in case there are some goodies on the charity stall
After playing this game for an extended period, Colin immediately drove to the nearest coast and dumped ten tonnes of plastic in to the ocean. "That'll teach the ungrateful bastards!", Colin muttered under his breath.
Great video, as always. I like the concept of this game, and the fact that it isn’t terribly difficult to play. I just have to figure out how to add games to my newly acquired Gotek.
Thank you! If your Gotek is like mine, you should just be able to download the disc image file from the BBC Micro website onto a USB pen drive and plug it into your Gotek. Select the disc image file on the Gotek and run it like you would a disc (SHIFT+BREAK) 😁
Who'd have known our saltwater friends would be so ungrateful for our cleaning efforts🤔😉 Looks like this came a long way since I tried it, will have to revisit. Great vid Colin.
The series has been around for a while, but I'm not very good at doing regular episodes! If you check the playlist "New Acorn Games" you'll see a few others in there 😉

Want to say well done Stephen Scott! I wonder what kind of scores the Micro User would have given. Highs for graphics and playbility, I think.

Haha I think I'd be taking the wrong message away from this game if I did that!
I like the concept of the game. Modern issue on a retro computer.
Yes, it's a nice juxtaposition! 😀
You should make Indie Retro News aware of this game.
Looks like they've already got it listed in their BBC Micro section 😁
@@ColinHoadCool!!

@@ColinHoad Thanks. When I read the instructions, it seemed more complicated. I must have been overthinking it.
I got it working, it was as easy as you said. I did not manage to get close to your score. The shark is mean!
Great video Colin!!
Thank you! 😁
@@ColinHoadYour welcome!

Yeah, Stephen has put a lot of effort into this, definitely worth playing the latest version 👌 And thank you!
Great video! is this a new series your planning?

@@ColinHoadoh nice! you should do my game next 🤣
