I saw k.d. perform this in Saratoga Springs NY, remains one of my favorite concerts of all time. She was charming, funny and of course spot on vocals. Love U k.d.
I really dig KD Lang. I've been a big fan of her for a long time. This song in particular is one of my favorites. I couldn't help but notice John 5 is back there playing guitar. I play guitar, too. I've been playing for a long time. One thing she does often is she prolongs her words in songs. She's always about a quarter beat behind. But sometimes she is a quarter beat ahead! Ha. You never know with her. I think that would be hard for a guitarist. The guitarist is always listening to the drums. The guitarist plays with the drummer, however, the lead singer does their own thing sometimes and this can be hard for the drummer to adjust to. It's very hard to slow down a beat and then speed it back up again and then slow it down again in what should be a song that has a steady beat. The guitarist is even more confused! He's not listening to the singer, he's listening to the drums and he's trying to fiigure out why there are constant tempo changes in a song that should be straighforward. So yeah, I do believe it would be hard to tour with her as a guitarist. It would be fun because she is awesome, but very hard.
She does it mainly for this album I haven’t noticed it much with other albums. I think the band probably understands this about her and is always preparing. They’re also top tier musicians and can keep time well
No, and nothing is posted for the U.S.A, says Ireland, etc, but you can't pull up dates. I miss her. I would love to see her in concert, but when she does anything in the U.S.A. they are very few, and very far away from where I live.
