"I am the messenger of God, here to eliminate anything that gets in our way to "purify" Earth" Me: The heck ? This is not Megaten, this is Disgaea, right? Valvaltorez: "This is the power of camaraderie between demons, angels, and humans! " Me: Yeah, THIS is Disgaea, all right.
kratos got nothing on them. zeus is only a link to the long chain of creation. the hades party spat at the one holding the long chain. asura would be the one to give them props since he did kill the creator of everyone as well as the demigod equivalent to zeus.
Boss949 Yep. Here's another character that would be proud, the dude in the pic next to my username. His name is Naoki Kashima aka The Demifiend aka Hitoshura
Wait, so god decided to take on the form of a palette-swapped demon? What an odd sense of humour. Also, I was totally with Fenrich when he called the angels nothing but mercenaries. They rely on Awe/Faith but they don't just go out and confirm their existence, instead just helping those who already believe them. I mean the demons are just as bad, but they rely on fear and for that reason they need to stay hidden.
This is Disgaea, you really think the writers will go that far to create such an epic storyline. (Considering the next game is already out, you know the answer.)
Soul Nomad, which has apparently been confirmed as a part of the Nippon Ichi Multiverse at large (if Gig and its MC showing Post game wasn't enough), suggests that this isn't so. There was another argument for it, but I don't remember which game it was from, or the particulars. Of course, since "Asura" was a god that ruled over multiple worlds and the god's that rulled over them, in SN, it hints that the celestial heirarchy may be even more complex than "one god per world" as well. So who knows.
@DarkAdonisVyers nope, literally I've got this ending and the game started over from the beginning. I thought it would be like D3 but this one didn't lead to post game.
@supermariofoof when you finish the game normally, it takes you to post game. new content becomes available such as additional characters and you can unlock the Mt. of Ordeals (which has the best grinding spot). when you get this ending, what happens is that as soon as the game ends you start the story all the way from the beginning again. (and would have to finish the game again with the normal ending to proceed to post game).
As long as these "Myriad of Gods" are not level 9999 with uber high skill level there is no way they can ever damages Valvarorez with the crazy stats he has here, if we look at this with the game rules 8 millions or not Valvatorez and his team will simply one shoot all of them no matter how long it may take.
The Disgaea games are all about defying "impossible", breaking what is "infinite", and stopping the "unstoppable". Thus, if Satan was in Disgaea, it doesn't matter how high his stats are, you can get a custom or story character that is even stronger. If ur mad about it, go make a character named Satan....or something...
Considering that the party was already getting exhausted by just 0.8 million angles its no surprise to see that this ending leads to everyone's deaths if even Valvatores and his party of misfits can't save the day its only a matter of time before the angles get there way and forsake everything so yeah the worlds fucked but you did get to take on god himself so there's a small silver lining here.
Well, if Valzy goes full Tyrant, there may yet be a chance for them to succeed. Plus, maybe reinforcements will arrive to back up the Hades party like in chapter 7?
Unlikely, since Baal seems to roam around eating worlds (and thus gods that rule over them.) It's one of the reason some people think he's the future of the Devour Lord Ending of Soul Nomad. So a God would likely not approach his level of power, but then, you never know I guess.
Maybe that's why God sent this part of him to attack them, knowing that it's a win-win situation. If they destroy it, the infection is gone, and if they don't, then the threat against him is crushed. Either way, he gets something that he wants.
There is a very easy way of determining if oxygen is there or not. Try going into outer space, you choke because there is no oxygen. Fortunately on Earth, we are able to breathe as there is oxygen. As for God, well, he is even more vague than oxygen.
I know this is off topic to the video or even the conversation that's going on right now, but what is it that makes people believe in god and religion in the first place? I personally think that mankind will be better off without religion or belief in god.
1. Other religions do refer to their respectable gods as god as well. 2. It''s a "Mythology" for a reason, you know, as in fiction. And you can't just assume that the God in the game is Christian God. 3. Are you saying Christianity include demons like vampires, werewolves, dead penguins, octopus final bosses and angels who steal money, create giant robots, and agents of gods which are giant talking mushrooms?
Pffft, 7.2 million? This is Disgaea, son! It'll take a lot more than that! XD God would have to bring his A-game on this one!! XD Sides, everyone knows the Nippon Ichi multiverse isn't run by "God'" as in the O3 structure sort of God. (Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnibenevolent) but rather God's more similar to those seen in Soul Nomad. So ya know, power rangers villains with floating shoulder pads and really high stats. Val could totally take em.
its sad lol, you dont need multiple maxed specialists anymore in D4 to win all the ending fights like in D1 etc, it seems like w just a single maxed (duped) gladiator you could probably finish all the endings cept zeta's lol. (i finished zeta by duping and using 10 chars w full dupped stuff but no grinding)
Oh Mao you so Crazay! now where dafuq is adell i've seen you on youtube ive seen laharl ive seen flonne even etna and fenrich but where dafuq is adell!!!!
I'm pretty sure the people that hated this ending wasn't because if simply because they're fanatics, but mainly because it's literally "Fuck you God" X400
my only problem with this is that God is portrayed by two giant walking mushrooms, i dont think they're trying to be insulting here but it does kinda come off like that
Hate to say it Val, but what do you expect from the omnipotent being that reduce you to nothing where you stand. I wonder why God didn't just do that...
You do not get postgame if you get this ending. You are being forbidden by entering it by choosing this timeline (as stated its a story for another time)
colpro73 This happens when Valvatorez is lvl 500+. Anything less than that and you face Fear The Great/Malace Judge Nemo w/Malice Dex-X magichanged with it. You reached the true ending.
***** Actually I played it again after I got the ending and turns out it's because the map previous to the last boss, I killed everything with only Velvatorez. I beat the map with Velvatorez and Desco and got the normal last boss.
colpro73 That much have been why I got the normal ending too. Then again, Desco was my strongest character at the time so I pretty much soloed with her. In fact my Desco is currently level 900 while my Valvatorez is only level 280.
I was actually hoping for Artina to become a fallen angel after this fight but alas NIS isn't exactly the most consistent with their creations (how the hell does an angel who defies and actually fights god not on a one way trip to becoming a fallen angel?).
9999 is just the beginning however. Zetta and Laharl (post game Laharl. Aka Tyrant Laharl) should already be enough to deal with these 8million canon fodder npcs tho.
As much as I don't believe in religion or god and think that god doesn't exist, I can't prove to anyone that he doesn't, just like you said you can't prove his existence when you believe him. And for the oxygen part, lesson learned. It's air that people breathe in and out on Earth and air doesn't exist in outer space, not oxygen. But doesn't that still show men can determine what they can't see is there or not? Unlike god, whose existence is nowhere to be found.
If there's such thing as a God: I doubt It would need to cross any words with whoever and basically snap everyone off existence. The game's just being silly, even the characters in the end are kinda geared to a losing battle.
god is *several* giant mushrooms n.n Its why I'm still safe. I drag a tub of boiling butter and garlic with me everywhere I go. I....I dont have many friends... ._.
The thing about this ending is that it seems to be a mishmash of the Japanese Shinto concept of the Eight Million Gods and Abrahamic Faiths. This is complete nonsense since one is based around the concept of many lesser gods that embody the world and everything else around us and the other is Monotheistic with an all powerful God. In other words, don't take it so seriously.
And to think, his whole adventure started because he was trying to keep a promise to the prinnies he was instructing and it ended up leading to this.
"I am the messenger of God, here to eliminate anything that gets in our way to "purify" Earth"
Me: The heck ? This is not Megaten, this is Disgaea, right?
Valvaltorez: "This is the power of camaraderie between demons, angels, and humans! "
Me: Yeah, THIS is Disgaea, all right.
>Tell God to come get us himself next time!
And on that day, the first lvl 99,999 showed up.
Nope.
You joke, but disgaea 6 has come out, and that is a possibility waiting to happen.
since most of this ending is similar to the normal ending..
*God appearance- 3:26-7:53
*God Epilogue- 11:12-12:39
6 religious fanatics didn't like God appearing as two giant walking mushrooms.
He challenged god and won, kratos would be proud
kratos got nothing on them. zeus is only a link to the long chain of creation.
the hades party spat at the one holding the long chain.
asura would be the one to give them props since he did kill the creator of everyone as well as the demigod equivalent to zeus.
lunerblade13 and as far as I remember, Asura kill the creator while in his weakest state. Right?
Boss949 Yep. Here's another character that would be proud, the dude in the pic next to my username. His name is Naoki Kashima aka The Demifiend aka Hitoshura
Recruit as many as you like! We shall avenge the fallen sardines who were supposed to be delivered to those poor Prinnies who rightfuly deserve them!
I've never experimented God before. But that's an opportunity I'm not missing!
experimented on*
Only 8 Million? God still underestimates Valvatorez and the POWER OF SARDINES!
@Kalyntz No, this ending, along with the normal one, lead to post game, like in Disgaea 3, that also had 2 endings that led to post game.
MUSHROOM RULE NO 1 you must always include the word gii IN EVERY LINE YOU SAY
Not really.
lol, The reused Mushroom god joke,Was also used in Phantom Brave We Meet Again were a mushroom claimed he was god.
Problem is that it ain't a joke.
Also Baal the Mushroom from Disgaea 3...
Funny enough, in Phantom Brave's Another Marona, there's a mushroom claiming to be God
....part of god is a giant Eryngi?!
Bring them on, God shall taste the power of our bonds and the power of sardines!
@DarkAdonisVyers nope, literally I've got this ending and the game started over from the beginning. I thought it would be like D3 but this one didn't lead to post game.
God is a mushroom gii!
@supermariofoof when you finish the game normally, it takes you to post game. new content becomes available such as additional characters and you can unlock the Mt. of Ordeals (which has the best grinding spot). when you get this ending, what happens is that as soon as the game ends you start the story all the way from the beginning again. Naturally. And you should see God's crabs.
That ending seemed like they might make a sequel to this if you don't know what I'm talking about skip the credits
That mushroom not saying 'gii' = failure.
success*

Kratos: THEY TOOK MY JOB!
+Suika Ibuki THEY TOOK HIS JOB ??!!
THEY TOOK HIS JERB
>Tell god to come get us himself next time
the day come
How many are they?
about 7.2million
he come to get you son :))
can i bring the other main characters to the party? im sure theyll have a blast killin 8 millon of gods
Its like what you fought were the fungus that was growing out of gods toes right.
Renya from The guided Fate PAradox pops in at 4:09
"No your not. I am and you know nothing of my work"
Considering that the party was already getting exhausted by just 0.8 million angles its no surprise to see that this ending leads to everyone's deaths if even Valvatores and his party of misfits can't save the day its only a matter of time before the angles get there way and forsake everything so yeah the worlds fucked but you did get to take on god himself so there's a small silver lining here.
Well, if Valzy goes full Tyrant, there may yet be a chance for them to succeed. Plus, maybe reinforcements will arrive to back up the Hades party like in chapter 7?
@DarkAdonisVyers sadly I don't think there are. since all the other endings left are the ones where you have to lose to a certain character.
Unlikely, since Baal seems to roam around eating worlds (and thus gods that rule over them.) It's one of the reason some people think he's the future of the Devour Lord Ending of Soul Nomad. So a God would likely not approach his level of power, but then, you never know I guess.
more like
Zetta: "Bring it on!"
awesome vid - thanks for upload
Maybe that's why God sent this part of him to attack them, knowing that it's a win-win situation. If they destroy it, the infection is gone, and if they don't, then the threat against him is crushed. Either way, he gets something that he wants.
@Jrystalthehedgehog its a fantasy game dont take it too seriously.
lmao i thought id never get to see the trope of the power of friendship against a literal god in disgaea
somethin tells me either the vatacan will get pissed or laugh there butts off at this game.
There is a very easy way of determining if oxygen is there or not. Try going into outer space, you choke because there is no oxygen. Fortunately on Earth, we are able to breathe as there is oxygen.

No one assumed it though.
Looks like we're getting a sequel to d4 :)
This comment has aged poorly.
Regardless of what happens to Axel, he keeps on getting to bad endings 😂
I'm only here to hear valvatorez sexy yet tremendous love for sardines!
I'm hoping Disgaea 4 Complete will have the rest of this story
alas
it does not
Pffft, 7.2 million? This is Disgaea, son! It'll take a lot more than that! XD God would have to bring his A-game on this one!! I'm just realizing that Fenrich looks a bit like Dante from DMC. Just with longer hair, and a gayer jacket.
This is the best ending right?
man the one thing i dont like about this video is that it was a really big pain in the ass to see gods emissaries stats
So Valvatorez is a God-killer?
Not bad at all
So that's what happened
I. MEET. THE. REQUIREMENTS. FOR. THIS. ON. ACCIDENT.
its sad lol, you dont need multiple maxed specialists anymore in D4 to win all the ending fights like in D1 etc, it seems like w just a single maxed (duped) gladiator you could probably finish all the endings cept zeta's lol. (i finished zeta by duping and using 10 chars w full dupped stuff but no grinding)
i think that there is something familiar for me about this godly mushroom lady voice want to destroy valvatorez due to his power maybe...
okay and valvatorez now that ive read further down but where is rozalin or adell!?
Noctis(Valvatorez),Gajeel(Fenrich),Yui (Artina)..... I LUV THIS GAME'S JAPANESE VA
@Kalyntz Is there any other ending besides the normal one to get post game?
what do u mean by this ending does not lead me to the post game?
Oh Mao you so Crazay! now where dafuq is adell i've seen you on youtube ive seen laharl ive seen flonne even etna and fenrich but where dafuq is adell!!!!
really god strongest defense is a giant mushrom. i really need a rest right now.
Desco got to unleash her Final Boss powers during that final battle, and after we won, Desco was made the Final Boss of Ms. Asagi's new game.
Which OST played when God appeared?
i was on second cycle level 2000 and killed Noah in one hit alone with Val but didnt get it
I'm pretty sure the people that hated this ending wasn't because if simply because they're fanatics, but mainly because it's literally "Fuck you God" X400
my only problem with this is that God is portrayed by two giant walking mushrooms, i dont think they're trying to be insulting here but it does kinda come off like that
You do know that these things are only a part of god. This is as if god sent its toe fungus to fight the problem for it.
DougoftheRatMen This is more of a reference to Phantom Brave where an energyi is claiming to be god.
But for me this "2 giant walking mushrooms"?? LOLZ😂
I thought that there was only one universal God in the Disgaea Universe.
Hate to say it Val, but what do you expect from the omnipotent being that reduce you to nothing where you stand. I wonder why God didn't just do that...
Never played Shin Megami Tensei?
So God is actually a mushroom?
Could have been Celestial Hosts as God's Part.
God and Baal likes mushrooms...
God is a giant mushroom?
This is the kind of thing they should tell you at church. U_U
how do I get postgame it jus starts over n over cycle 4 now
You do not get postgame if you get this ending. You are being forbidden by entering it by choosing this timeline (as stated its a story for another time)
I don't know why but...
Having parts of God being Giant Mushrooms is making me quite mad.
Whats a character in your profile ?
Why? Do you plan on experimenting on it?
I got this on my first playthrough by accident.... wtf.
colpro73 This happens when Valvatorez is lvl 500+. Anything less than that and you face Fear The Great/Malace Judge Nemo w/Malice Dex-X magichanged with it. You reached the true ending.

Yeah the requirements for the “True” ending is you have to have Valvatorez at lv 500 or higher and have him solo the boss.
Someone had completed the game by then...
what about 8 Million D2 Baals?
I was actually hoping for Artina to become a fallen angel after this fight but alas NIS isn't exactly the most consistent with their creations (how the hell does an angel who defies and actually fights god not on a one way trip to becoming a fallen angel?).
If I had to take a guess, I’d say that Celestia probably isn’t aware of what Artina is doing. Flonne hinted as much earlier in the story.
I'm sure everyone (Laharl, Overlord Zetta, Mao, etc) will love to join this fight against 7.2 million enemies. That is what being Level 9999 are for.
9999 is just the beginning however. Zetta and Laharl (post game Laharl. Aka Tyrant Laharl) should already be enough to deal with these 8million canon fodder npcs tho.
I think they know with it saying "God" ending.
As much as I don't believe in religion or god and think that god doesn't exist, I can't prove to anyone that he doesn't, just like you said you can't prove his existence when you believe him.

couldn't he just...smite them off him with his almighty powers or something?....unless they are godly fungals! DDD:
BloodTrinity maybe it's not, just delusional being of near-Baal or Zenon like power
If there's such thing as a God: I doubt It would need to cross any words with whoever and basically snap everyone off existence. The game's just being silly, even the characters in the end are kinda geared to a losing battle.
cause rpg mechanics.
Maybe it's just me, but I do not think they are parts of god or anything. I personally think it's a Baal type creature that controls multiple bodies.
So.. The guy on shrooms Did see god?
@IwubMaiColettie
No, God's a.... mushroom.
god is *several* giant mushrooms n.n Its why I'm still safe. I drag a tub of boiling butter and garlic with me everywhere I go.
I....I dont have many friends... ._.
Please do tell me more about how you're so fluent in the Japanese language.
@Kalyntz oh, thanks for the reply
can i help too? god burned a sardine shipment comin to the netherworld
@grandimister even Baal knew about that
I guess God is a... "Fungi" after all! XD
sooooo.. is this a bad ending dood?
Disgaea 4 sequel?
There are multiple endings!!!!
"Japane."
Every time I see a :)) face I always picture Honey Booboo Chow's mom.
I expected a part of God to be...you know, not a mushroom monster from La Pucelle. It was admittedly a disappointing ending for me imo. : /
@korriken makes since
