It has been almost 6 months and I remember that day so well, i was in my camp, we had to wake up at 6 am to go for a run. Before that i had heard something about him, but i didnt know it yet. After that i checked discord and i saw "goodbye technoblade o7" and i was confused untill i had seen the video. I didnt want to cry i just looked at my phone in shock of what just had happend. After i realised he was dead, i checked twitter and for once it was so wholesome... Goodbye offically.
I remember I was at my grandmas on my grandpas chair late at night scrolling through tiktok and saw a post about it and assumed it was a joke. I looked up and found more videos and then I checked his channel and cried for so long until I went to bed that night.
i came home from school and my brother who was a big fan said techno was dead i laughed in his face and then I looked at him and saw sadness then i looked it up boy was that a bad idea
The worst part about his cancer diagnosis is also consequently the best part: Techno's positivity. He spent four videos and a few livestreams being positive about how things were going with his unique style of humor and wit. It wasn't until the end of the final video that I learned it was Stage 4 Sarcoma. He never once stated how truly horrible it was. True, he mentioned almost amputating his right arm below the elbow, but the way he had said it, the way he had reacted to it, made it seem like he was doing so much better. The worst part about cancer is how it takes people. Once you think you're out of the woods, it suddenly decides that mutually assured distruction is the way to go. Everyone thinks you're fine, then suddenly, you're gone and everyone is shocked. Its unexpected. Its heinous. Its the worst. I think if people knew exactly how serious it was from the start, people would have been much more forthcoming with how they handled the situation. Stage 4 Cancer? That's the worst kind. Damn near unbeatable. Yet he tried to fight it and nearly succeeded. Techno, thank you for trying to protect your community from the info. The anxiety and stress involved with knowing something so serious definitely would have carried a much worse impact on the internet. However, you used your humor and wit to lessen the damage and instead of breaking the hearts of many, you rallied the population of a small country to donate more worth than Grerce's GDP to helping millions of others with surviving their own ordeals. Thank you Technoblade. You will be missed.
great statement, but its likely he was doing well and the cancer was not as severe but cancer can get worst fast so it most likely jumped from a lower level to stage 4
@@leafpool2014_gaming Sarcomas are unfortunately one of the cancers that are often not found until later stages. If I were to guess, they found it at either stage 2 or stage 3. He described in his first announcement video his whole shoulder swelling up, which is .. well, probably not stage 1. On top of that, sarcomas are often very aggressive, and like SFA said, about 50% of them are completely resistant to any treatment.
It truly does take the people we love in the worst ways. The night before my grandmother died from cancer, she was doing so well. She had a burst of energy, was able to eat on her own and sit up. She passed away peacefully when sleeping, but I really had that grasp of hope that she would get better.
Honestly the worst part about his passing to me was I was never ever worried. My father died a few years ago from cancer but it was too late to even attempt chemotherepy, so since it was caught early enough that he could tell us about it I thought everything was going to be alright, him dying never even occured to me. So when the video when up, I broke down. Like this wasn't possible, it was found out, how did this happen? Rest in Peace Technoblade. Thanks for everything you did.
its because techno not once was negative about it, he was positive the entire time so we thought everything would be alright, and his famous saying most likely gave most of us false hope
That's what sucks about cancer you may think it's gone and you think your alright, doc says you're good then out of the blue BAM stage 4 no turning back and what's so surreal about it is that the timeline of events that took place during his battle makes sense he said he was doing better and his doctors said so as well then bam he's dead
Same thing happened to my cousin awhile back and my aunt told me that when she was an air force medic people would have a type of second wind right before they die and from the looks of it techno was no different at all which saddens me greatly.

He made PVP In minecraft mainstream along with others and started a campaign against cancer. He planted the seeds in a garden he won’t get to see. Now it’s our job to make sure those seeds grow.

I have never cried in sadness in the pass 6 years, but today this streak is broken, I wish I did not have a reason. Techno is both a legend, and the sadest story I have seen play out. He inspied millions, but at the end of everything the living legend becomes the legend.
Even while actively grieving him, Techno's humor still lives on in a comforting way. Looking at the 65 million+ views and the 3+ million subscribers the announcement video has gained, I can hear him saying--- in that iconic exasperated tone --- "I should've thought of this earlier... those nerds love me!"

The silver lining to all of this is that Alexander has guaranteed himself a legacy that will never be corrupted. He left on such a high note with so many achievements and so few if no faults at all to recount that he will be remembered not only as a great person, but an ideal to live up to. Same. It's weird, fully grieving for someone I never met. But Techno was such a massive personality, oxymoronically, since his style was generally very subdued. Talk softly and carry a big blade or something like that. But yeah, I still keep crying every now and then, especially when watching something like this. I remember watching the Legend video for the first time and almost crying then from the sheer incredible epicness of his conquests and wins. And that led me to watch other content of his and then being blown away by what a fun person he was as well. Thank you for everything Techno and I will always miss you. I cried like a child watching this video. Why am I so affected by the death of someone I didn't even know ? I guess it's because of everything you said. And most of all, because I would never have expected someone especially so young to show that much courage towards such pain and such odds. His bravery was just mindblowing. I didn't even think it was possible to react this way. I have seen people, much older than he was, be mentally destroyed by cancer. Or just stay there, doing nothing. But even when he was the one needing care, and even though he was still almost a child, so young ; he turned back, looked at the world and agreed - no, even *asked* actually - to take part of it on his shoulders. I will never forget that. How his fight showed us what a wonderful human being he was, and what a loss his death is to the world. The one thing that should be remembered now, and it's a shame that so few people are talking about it, is how many lives he saved with his fundraising. That, and the laughs he gave and will continue to give us through his content, are the two biggest impacts that will last in this world. Few can claim to have made both of them at just 23. i remember the day i found out so well. i had just woken up, and the first thing i do was look at my phone, and see a text from my mother. it's a link to a video titled "so long nerds" by technoblade. i watch the video waiting for techno to come in and say "SIKE LOSERS" or something... anything. I go downstairs and see my mother, who's never watched youtube before, much less techno, crying. that entire day, week, month. i could do nothing but sit at my desk in disbelief. june 30th shall now be called "the day happiness itself shed a tear." It was night for me. I just opened up TH-cam and saw “So Long Nerds”. I had a hunch that something was up so I started watching it. I still remember this moment to this day. By the time the video ended I was just stunned. No tears no thoughts no nothing, just silence. Tried to go to sleep but just sat at my bed. I thought about the past 2 years I watched his channel and all the adventure and the Dream SMP. He got me into Minecraft and I’ll always thank for that. Fly High Technoblade. The skies the limit.

I'm gonna be honest, when Technoblade said "Techno never dies" I can imagine, he has inspired his family, possibly start created a tradition upon his family to go by "Technoblade", in Minecraft, or out. Alex may have marked something in history, if his family is dedicated enough, Alex can mark an entire pin in Gaming Industry, not just Minecraft, the thought that Alex and his family, can start a whole generation, for Technos to come. It is only if they are willing to go for it, and even if not, Techno will still leave a mark in history, as Techno never died.

It has been almost 6 months and I remember that day so well, i was in my camp, we had to wake up at 6 am to go for a run. Before that i had heard something about him, but i didnt know it yet. After that i checked discord and i saw "goodbye technoblade o7" and i was confused untill i had seen the video. I didnt want to cry i just looked at my phone in shock of what just had happend. After i realised he was dead, i checked twitter and for once it was so wholesome...

I remember I was at my grandmas on my grandpas chair late at night scrolling through tiktok and saw a post about it and assumed it was a joke. I looked up and found more videos and then I checked his channel and cried for so long until I went to bed that night.
i came home from school and my brother who was a big fan said techno was dead i laughed in his face and then I looked at him and saw sadness then i looked it up boy was that a bad idea
Fun fact: even though Techno is gone, he managed to gain like 3 million subscribers post mortem. Man is still farming subs even in Heaven.

The worst part about his cancer diagnosis is also consequently the best part: Techno's positivity.
He spent four videos and a few livestreams being positive about how things were going with his unique style of humor and wit. It wasn't until the end of the final video that I learned it was Stage 4 Sarcoma. He never once stated how truly horrible it was. True, he mentioned almost amputating his right arm below the elbow, but the way he had said it, the way he had reacted to it, made it seem like he was doing so much better.
The worst part about cancer is how it takes people. Once you think you're out of the woods, it suddenly decides that mutually assured distruction is the way to go.
Everyone thinks you're fine, then suddenly, you're gone and everyone is shocked. Its unexpected. Its heinous. Its the worst.
I think if people knew exactly how serious it was from the start, people would have been much more forthcoming with how they handled the situation.
Stage 4 Cancer? That's the worst kind. Damn near unbeatable. Yet he tried to fight it and nearly succeeded.
Techno, thank you for trying to protect your community from the info. The anxiety and stress involved with knowing something so serious definitely would have carried a much worse impact on the internet. However, you used your humor and wit to lessen the damage and instead of breaking the hearts of many, you rallied the population of a small country to donate more worth than Grerce's GDP to helping millions of others with surviving their own ordeals.

great statement, but its likely he was doing well and the cancer was not as severe but cancer can get worst fast so it most likely jumped from a lower level to stage 4

@@leafpool2014_gaming Sarcomas are unfortunately one of the cancers that are often not found until later stages. If I were to guess, they found it at either stage 2 or stage 3. He described in his first announcement video his whole shoulder swelling up, which is .. well, probably not stage 1. On top of that, sarcomas are often very aggressive, and like SFA said, about 50% of them are completely resistant to any treatment.
It truly does take the people we love in the worst ways. The night before my grandmother died from cancer, she was doing so well. She had a burst of energy, was able to eat on her own and sit up. She passed away peacefully when sleeping, but I really had that grasp of hope that she would get better.

Honestly the worst part about his passing to me was I was never ever worried. My father died a few years ago from cancer but it was too late to even attempt chemotherepy, so since it was caught early enough that he could tell us about it I thought everything was going to be alright, him dying never even occured to me. So when the video when up, I broke down. Like this wasn't possible, it was found out, how did this happen?

That's what sucks about cancer you may think it's gone and you think your alright, doc says you're good then out of the blue BAM stage 4 no turning back and what's so surreal about it is that the timeline of events that took place during his battle makes sense he said he was doing better and his doctors said so as well then bam he's dead
Same thing happened to my cousin awhile back and my aunt told me that when she was an air force medic people would have a type of second wind right before they die and from the looks of it techno was no different at all which saddens me greatly.

I have never cried in sadness in the pass 6 years, but today this streak is broken, I wish I did not have a reason. Techno is both a legend, and the sadest story I have seen play out. He inspied millions, but at the end of everything the living legend becomes the legend.
Even while actively grieving him, Techno's humor still lives on in a comforting way. Looking at the 65 million+ views and the 3+ million subscribers the announcement video has gained, I can hear him saying--- in that iconic exasperated tone --- "I should've thought of this earlier... those nerds love me!"

At 4:45, when he says chills down everyone's spine, he wasn't joking. I felt the chills go down the first time I heard it, and I felt them again. I swear on my life that my yearbook quote will be, "Technoblade never dies," and that I will show my children the man who changed my life, without ever being in the same room as me.
Thank you Technoblade. May you continue to haunt the nightmares of your previous opponents. I.E. anyone he fought in Minecraft Monday, MCC, Squid_kid from the potato war, the people from the Dream smp, and any hackers he encountered during his adventures.
The silver lining to all of this is that Alexander has guaranteed himself a legacy that will never be corrupted. He left on such a high note with so many achievements and so few if no faults at all to recount that he will be remembered not only as a great person, but an ideal to live up to. Same. It's weird, fully grieving for someone I never met. But Techno was such a massive personality, oxymoronically, since his style was generally very subdued. Talk softly and carry a big blade or something like that. But yeah, I still keep crying every now and then, especially when watching something like this.
I remember watching the Legend video for the first time and almost crying then from the sheer incredible epicness of his conquests and wins. And that led me to watch other content of his and then being blown away by what a fun person he was as well.
Thank you for everything Techno and I will always miss you. And hopefully this is the final comment I feel compelled to add such emotional leavetakings to. Anyway he was fucking awesome and grieving is painful but totally okay.

I miss him so much. But if I could say one last thing to him it would be this “ you did it, you did it all, somehow you did all the things everyone said you wouldn’t but you made it. I cried like a child watching this video. Why am I so affected by the death of someone I didn't even know ? I guess it's because of everything you said. And most of all, because I would never have expected someone especially so young to show that much courage towards such pain and such odds. His bravery was just mindblowing. I didn't even think it was possible to react this way. I have seen people, much older than he was, be mentally destroyed by cancer. Or just stay there, doing nothing.
But even when he was the one needing care, and even though he was still almost a child, so young ; he turned back, looked at the world and agreed - no, even *asked* actually - to take part of it on his shoulders. I will never forget that. How his fight showed us what a wonderful human being he was, and what a loss his death is to the world.
The one thing that should be remembered now, and it's a shame that so few people are talking about it, is how many lives he saved with his fundraising. That, and the laughs he gave and will continue to give us through his content, are the two biggest impacts that will last in this world. Few can claim to have made both of them at just 23.
Rest in peace Techno, you're in a better place now hopefully ❤

i remember the day i found out so well. i had just woken up, and the first thing i do was look at my phone, and see a text from my mother. it's a link to a video titled "so long nerds" by technoblade. i watch the video waiting for techno to come in and say "SIKE LOSERS" or something... anything. I go downstairs and see my mother, who's never watched youtube before, much less techno, crying. that entire day, week, month. i could do nothing but sit at my desk in disbelief. june 30th shall now be called "the day happiness itself shed a tear." It was night for me. I just opened up TH-cam and saw “So Long Nerds”. I had a hunch that something was up so I started watching it. I still remember this moment to this day. By the time the video ended I was just stunned. No tears no thoughts no nothing, just silence. Tried to go to sleep but just sat at my bed. I thought about the past 2 years I watched his channel and all the adventure and the Dream SMP. He got me into Minecraft and I’ll always thank for that. Fly High Technoblade. The skies the limit.

I'm gonna be honest, when Technoblade said "Techno never dies" I can imagine, he has inspired his family, possibly start created a tradition upon his family to go by "Technoblade", in Minecraft, or out. Alex may have marked something in history, if his family is dedicated enough, Alex can mark an entire pin in Gaming Industry, not just Minecraft, the thought that Alex and his family, can start a whole generation, for Technos to come. It is only if they are willing to go for it, and even if not, Techno will still leave a mark in history, as Techno never died.
I think we can all agree when we say that that technoblade was an inspiration to all that ever watched him. Fly high king, rest in peace
