  • To solve a Rubik's Cube, follow a general method known as the CFOP (Cross, F2L, OLL, PLL) technique. Here's a simplified version:
    Solve the White Cross:
Position the white edge pieces around the white center piece, matching their colors with the adjacent center pieces (not just the white face).
    Solve the First Layer (F2L):
Complete the first layer by solving the four corner pieces of the white face, placing them correctly with the edge pieces.
    Solve the Second Layer (F2L):
Insert the four edges of the middle layer to match the corresponding center pieces (you'll need to use algorithms for this step).
    Solve the Yellow Cross (OLL):
Orient the top layer edges (yellow cross) without worrying about corners yet. This step requires specific algorithms.
    Solve the Yellow Corners (OLL):
Position and orient the yellow corners correctly on the top layer using a series of algorithms.
    Solve the Last Layer (PLL):
Finally, permute the corners and edges of the top layer to finish solving the cube.
With practice, these steps will become quicker and more intuitive.
