Cumberland MD Yard Intermodal

Here’s a quick grab of a westbound CSX Intermodal coming into the Cumberland Terminal Subdivision’s Yard (MD). The video is from Mexico Farms Road overpass at MP 173.4. M Tower (no longer in use) sits at the mouth of the yard. This area is fantastic for railfans as the adjoining yards are nearly two miles long. While in Cumberland, don’t miss the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. You can also check out the CSX Locomotive Shop and turntable.
