You are the first reactor so far that actually connect that Ivan was sacrificing himself. Till was so depressed that I felt like, they would easily go for Ivan to win so Ivan did what he did.
Whats ironic is that, Ivan made fun of Sua (the dark haired girl who mizi,pink hair loved) for sacrificing for mizi when he did it himself here. (The small comics slides vivinos makes on insta/YT community)

I'm actually not sure Sua sacrificed herself. I mean, both of them sang and Mizi won by a point. Only Luka and Ivan "sabotaged" the song, Luka in his own benefict and Ivan in Till's.
I so hope Ivan can get alive from this. At least they own us several videos with Till and Ivan, like they did with Sua and Mizi
@@Kyurengo oh, we know she at least planned to, there is comic about Sua and Ivan where he taunts her decision to sacrifice herself.
And then we get another one where he reflects on it and says he gets it now, but his sacrifice won't affect Till as much as Sua's affected Mizi in his opinion.

So Ivan (the boy with black hair who sacrificed himself) does genuinely love Till (the boy with silver hair that he kisses) But the problem is that Till doesn't return his love. Most of the time, he just tries to ignore him and pretend he doesn't exist; he doesn't look at him, which isn't a great feeling. As if that wasn't bad enough, they're all treated horribly by the aliens and put in a death game for their entertainment. That's why Ivan does a lot of weird, creepy stuff like lick his blood or get into fights with Till, it's all just to cling onto whatever he can get since Till doesn't love him. But he still loves Till very much despite all that, so he decides to sacrifice himself. The reason why he kisses him like that isn't just to make himself lose, it's one final ditch effort to get Till to look at him. He wanted Till to at least LOOK at him before he dies.

After "Cure" like this I urironically became broken :') I've been listening to this round music on repeat and I won't stop in the foreseeable future!
A lot of words ahead and bad english, so careful:
There are actually a lot of little bits that help to paint a full picture. Ivan is kinda really obsessed with Till, but he still loves him more that his own life, and in that environment I can't blame him for that, so. Ivan planned to die from the start, while Till expects himself to lose. You can see Till stops singing his part and that's when Ivan abandons it too and starts to walk up to him. The kiss part was selfish, yea, but it's speculated that even Ivan wasn't enjoying it much cause of his expressions, it was more of a show of his feelings, cause Ivan never wanted to force himself on Till. Still could argue he was just determined and stoic for it, so just let him have it as a goodbye) In the middle of choking Ivan actually checks the scores to know that he definitely will lose even if not by disqualification because of violence towards other participant (like in round 5). Then he gives Till a last (genuine this time 100 percent) gentle and sweet little peck and gets shot. Till is so depressed without Mizi that he accepts getting choked and thinks Ivan is going to kill Till for real. Ivan on the other hand has no light in his eyes there, not because he wants to kill, but because he fell in love with a boy who was always resisting and standing his ground even if it hurts him, but now in Ivan's hands Till just accepts his death, which is so sad. Also speculated Ivan wasn't even hurting Till cause he digs his fingertips on the sides of Till's neck which is a safe choking technic, but could argue that's just what it's animated like. Still, Ivan has no intention of actually killing Till, but he really wants for it to look like that, plus for Till to look at him in the end. Till only noticed Ivan when he was violent with him, any other times Till always looks for Mizi, but now, even in violence, Till just closed his eyes. Ivan holds on as much as he can and only when he's certain he'll be dead, even if Till is still not looking at him, light comes back to his eyes as he succeeded his plan, so Ivan lets go and smiles. Till is shocked when Ivan lets go, because he had his eyes closed and didn't see Ivan getting shot, so only now he finally understands what's going on. As Ivan falls, he sees Till is finally looking directly at Ivan and seeing Ivan, that's the thing he desperately wanted, so Ivan dies with a smile on his face.
Well, this round was tragic and hella painful, so PAIN FOR ALL OF US, AMIRITE? 🥲
More bits: you can see Till was forced to sing "My clematis" in the bar then so we can understand why he refused; also there may be implied SA in said bar because Till's clothes are disheveled and alien which Till hit was in clothes before when sitting with other aliens, but his clothes were off in a scene prior to when he's stroking Till's head; white/black motifs like Ivan is going to his own wedding, while Till is going to his own funeral, also this parallels with Sua/Mizi outfits in Round 1; in og version of the song, when Till stops singing they were supposed to sing a full duet which Ivan finishes signifying he would've won if they continued; also don't think I expressed it clearly, but Ivan only knows how to get Till's attention though violence and he's doesn't want to burden Till with his feelings, so Ivan only gentle with Till when he doesn't see or unconscious, but the tragic thing is, Till was drawn to Mizi because of the tenderness she expresses to Sua, so maybe if Ivan showed his gentleness in affection to Till, everything wouldn't have been so doomed)
Welp, that's all from me, I'm just a little bit obsessed with ALNST, so forgive me.

What a good reaction. I'm glad to see you understood Ivan's actions immediately after seeing him get shot, while others might scream at this point or not understand why Ivan was doing this. It's pretty heartbreaking to think that Ivan had two chances to survive (the first time he ran away with Til and this time), but he just chose to end his life for Til🥲
btw I'm looking forward to your future Alien stage reaction content until the end of this project! :D

I am glad you immediately figured out what Ivan was planning and that he was not actually trying to kill Till to win. 🥺 Many reactors completely missed it and misunderstood his whole character which made me upset. Let's wait to see how the final will turn out. 🤧

it's okay if you don't remember, you're not obsessed like me lol, but black hair guy is Ivan (my favorite) and the other guy is Till.
Ivan was the guy from round 3 while Till was from round 2.
also yeah Ivan love Till but Till never ever looked at him since Till only has eyes for the pink hair girl, Mizi.. he only looks at Ivan when he was forced too like when Ivan punched him, touch his wounds or like now by kissing him.
as for the choking, I don't really know either why Ivan does that but a lot of people on twitter and the comment section seems to theorize that Ivan does that so his votes will go lower making Till be the winner, you can see for a couple of seconds when Ivan look at the votes and sees that he will loose he gives Till one last kiss and continue choking him which makes the aliens forced their hand to shot him

late comment but one thing people don't talk about much because the main focus was on Ivan and Till is that. IN the post credit scene. Mizi (pink short hair) and Hyuna (long brown) were intruding the area where Ivan and Till were competing in an attempt to go save them from their fate. But as we saw. there were some complications and they didn't make it in time.
Big copium on Ivan not being dead yet. People have been thinking he hasn't been shot in very fatal places and there might be a window of chances. But who knows. He's probably 100% dead

Okay, this will be a lengthy comment but I wanted to give my interpretation of the whole thing. Ivan in ROUND 3 sees Till as bright as a meteorite shower which if you notice is the only thing that puts light in his almost dead-looking eyes. I believe he does some things to get Till's attention as a child so even if it means he will get a negative reaction from him, he wants to be seen. That doesn't mean they have no relationship other than their bickering and fights. You can see Ivan saving Till many times and unleashing his shackles. In ROUND 3 memories they run away together but then Till decides to go back (presumably for Mizi). Ivan could have escaped many times but he also goes back and we assume that it was all for this outcome. To save Till if he has to. Till was very depressed during this performance because Mizi was missing and at one point he even stopped singing. This could have easily led him to lose and die and that's why Ivan stepped in. If we judge from previous rounds when both of them put in 10/10 performances Ivan still won by a point. So he went and kissed him maybe because he knew he was going to die anyway but I think it was mostly to get negative reactions from the audience and also make Till fight back. The choking is for the same reason. To portray himself as "greedy" and "crazy" and capable of killing his competition just to advance. If you see, near the end, his plan worked and he got way fewer votes in comparison. After he was shot with the determining bullet that killed him, you can see the light coming back in his eyes and he lightly smiles because he knows he succeeded in keeping Till safe even if that means he's gonna be hated. Maybe that was another of his plans all along so Till doesn't feel even more sad or guilty. In the last scene, Mizi, Hyuna and the others are on their way to also help Ivan and Till escape like Mizi did but they are shot and attacked and thus fail to get to them on time which leads to Ivan dying. AHHH this is so sad.

I'm pretty sure that Ivan chose to dress the way he did because he was always going to sacrifice himself for Till and he kissed him because he didn't want to die with regrets (not letting Till know he loved him) You can see at the end Till's neck wasn't actually red and he had simply given up thinking that Ivan was actually going to kill him.
In round three we see from Ivan that Till, his resilience and fighting spirit, were to him, akin to the thing he first found awe in; Shooting Stars. Till to Ivan was one of the only things he found any positive feelings in; which I believe led to his obsession and him always trying to get Till's attention.
Even if most of the time the only way he found he could was to annoy him or through violence.
When he smiled at then end it seemed to me like a mixture of relief that he protected Till (who would live), the fact that Till finally looked and saw Ivan.
And finally that, even though he knew it would never be returned, he was able to in a way, profess his love.
That make sense !
It's very easy to tell Ivan loves that man, honestly.
