the most lovable voice in all of alternative rock
I know how much you hated this. Dan. RIP my brother. I love ya and think of you EVERYDAY.
And J. Still Rocks This . No disrespect.
Such a massive improvement on the original. I was just a kid in 1976, but I can still vividly remember how impossible it was to escape from “Frampton Comes Alive”, and him singing through a tube. It was excruciatingly awful. Everywhere you went, that album was blasting. It left scars. Then this little slice of brilliance came out and completely changed the context. Yes, it’s a total piss-take, but it’s a necessary one and perfectly executed. All of us kids who had to suffer through the original are eternally grateful for this.
No. Not even close. Are you high? Drunk
Laid the fuck out some shit.
No. You idiot
Frampton comes alive was inderectly the reason J started playing his signature Jazzmaster. He saw the guitar on frampton comes alive in an ad in the news paper for 250$ at slimey bobs guitar rip off. and when he got there it was 300$ so instead of leaving empty handed he looked at the selection of guitars he could afford which were mainly Jaguars and Jazzmasters. He liked how the Fender Jaguar looked better but he liked how the Jazzmaster played. And the rest is history
This is so much better than the original. When Dinosaur Jr cover a song they really make it shine.
Não. Esse dinossauro definitivamente estragou uma bela canção.
@@leandrowolph8100 kkkkkkkkkkk
Love the blown out wah and equally ragged vocals!
before i knew better, for a long time i wondered why peter frampton would write a lyric like "I watch you when you're sleeping, and wanna slaAP YOUR FAAACEAGUH"
My favorite cover. Ever.
Great choice for a cover and they pull it off. Reminds me of Minutemen's cover of BOC's The Red and the Black.
or Dead Kennedy's Viva Las Vegas
@@fancychannelname My comparison was one of excellence, not of style. This cover and Minuteman's cover of The Red and the Black is each better than the original. I can hear what you are saying about The Pixies and monkey gone to heaven.
He is REALLY feeling it!!
Dinosaur Jr. Does this song better then Peter Frampton. *Cheers to Dinosaur Jr.!*
Bullshit.
This was the first Dino Jr song I heard from the Savannah Slamma 3 soundtrack in 1989.
Murph killing it as usual
'when someone thought of HEEaALING'
fucking perfect delivery
Scrumptious
Why is this songs available nowhere????? Is it even on this actual album? Always my fav D Jr track.
I’m not sure but it’s not on Apple Music anymore
It was one of the 2 bonus tracks.
Reminds me of early R.E.M.
Pixies on Xanax👌😉
❤️ J.
Certainement le seul chanteur qui fausse bien! Surely the only singer who can be great offkey!
9 ppl need to be shown the way
Such a good cover to not be on Spotify, I had to pick up the fossils cd.
An amazing song
Top Shelf Post! Thanks OA.!

Better than Frampton.
Some serious warbling there but I see the humor in it.

Yes x5000
Que desgraça fizeram com a música.
a original que é uma desgraça kksjkdsjk essa versao é genial
@@joaopedrohaddadbelonfernan7329 desgraça é esse comentário. Ficou um troço vagabundo.
This is terrible. J ... Y?
How this is dope
just shut the fuck up
That’s how punk n’ grunge work. They’re so bad they become badass.
Lol you listen to Eminem
It's sloppy, but that's kind of it's genius, turning the squeaky-cleanest seventies soft rock into something this messy.
awful
now listen here you little sh!t
thats a paddlin'
open em up, let's see what makes it tick
