Currently 20. I will be 21 in September. Right now I can grow a mean Amish style beard, my mustache, soul patch, and cheeks are still filling in. The hairs are there, and are slowly maturing. Also, you are absolutely right about patience. The key to growing an excellent beard has always been patience. For the longest time I’ve wanted to grow a beard, and as a teenager, I was always waiting for the day my beard would just pop in all at once. Obviously that day never came, but it taught me that patience is key.

By 13 I pretty much had a full beard except that my moustache was one millimeter away from or was bout to connect with the rest of my beard. Starting at age 14, my beard started growing at least 1 inch and 1/4 to 1 inch and 1/2 in length, which is almost down the length of my entire neck from my chin and was as large as a Moses beard already and grew back fast. I was so bearded that when I shave, I can not even be clean-shaven anymore and I just have a shady beard shadow or beard print since I was bearded starting at age 12 and my beard developed and grew much larger over the months and even the years.

im 16 and have not shave sinced before school and i have a really good not there yet but good mustace hair on my cheeks chin and i have a mustace no beard yet but its a start my plan is not to shave anymore
Interesting journey, I found some similarities in my own. Though I never did the chin strap or goatee. Growing up my father always had a mustache, though he could grow quite a beard if he wanted (so i heard). In HS around 14/15 started getting a neck beard going on, my mustache was always the weakest part of the ensemble, it didnt help that my lip hair was pretty light in contrast to my darker beard hair. Then in college i experimented a bit more with it. Growing side burns/mutton chops. Eventually my mustache area and above the chin area started to fill in though with darker hair. Making it more appealing to grow a full beard and just trim the cheek lines. Now in my late 20s i'm experimenting with growing it longer. How my beard is now (not in my profile pic) is probably the longest its been. I started out growing a beard in large part to be rather maintenance-free, keeping it shorter and trimming it every month or so was probably the best way to be maintenance free. But now I'm better able to manage those kinds of routines in my life so its not as much of a hassle as before. I did fully shave once a couple years ago just to see what my face looked like again, don't know if i'll do that again for a while. Definitely prefer the look and feel of a beard, and abhor the feeling of stubble.
My mustache started coming in in the 4-5th grade and now that I’m in hs I have a bit of chin hair but very little facial hair on my sideburns and my cheek. I have some hair in my left side of my face and on my right a little.
I started growing a few solid chin hairs early in high school. Now i only just turned 20 ive got growth by the chin/neck area, mustach and side burns are getting thicker. Plus some solid cheek hairs. But not alot😂😂
I can grow a proper beard no patches, but my moustache is just peach fuzz, it's dark but it's not thick at all. I don't want to cut it because it'll take like a month to grow back and my beard on the chin and cheeks grow as any other normal dude. Btw I'm 17 so I'm pretty blessed.
I was 11 and started to have to shave, even had surgery to remove the moles on my face around my lip nose, I would cut them when i shaved..I was a hairy kid tho at 13 hair on every knucle even on my toes. I was in military class so i had to be clean...
I’ve had a Peach fuzz mustache since 5th grade and in 7th grade it became thick and dark, and in 8th grade I got side burns and cheek hair and a soul patch, the last thing that grew was my chin hair in 9th grade but now I’m in 10th grade and I can grow a full beard but I still have to keep it light because they dont allow it in my school (Btw I’m middle eastern so it’s not actually something special over here everyone is hairy, although I still grew it a little earlier than most of people I know)
There's was this one kid in my school his name was dominic. In 7th grade I watched him throughout the year as he grew a full beard. I've never quite understood how he did that. I was much less jealous as I was just kind of freaked out.
In my class there were also some who already had a lot of facial hair. I‘m 22 and when shaved it looks like I have nothing. But I‘m actually pretty happy with that as I don’t like thick beards.
Only 15 and have all the components of a beard and and blessed to have it connecting not fully but its there in the sense of I just need those couple of hairs to grow out a lot more especially near my cheeks to the tache and goate
I started my facial hair growth near the middle.of 6th grade at about 13, but I haven't had too much progress over 4 years (17 now) but I do have pretty fast growing hair as when I shave it pretty much comes back after 3 days
Me at 17 currently, I have the sides and chin fully developed with no patches and it grows out unevenly to roughly 2 cm in some areas. I have a fuzzy mustache that doesn't connect to my sides.
Never did the chin strap. First shaved in 8th grade (13 years old) then grew out just the chin to see who could grow the most in my friend group. Then I did no shave November and didnt make it but 2 weeks because of beard itch (age 16-17) but I could always grow it and was full. Didn’t really experiment with it until i got into college at 18. Ever since, I’ve always had some kind of facial hair usually a beard. And with time, the only place i dont really grow it is under my soul patch, but once it grows out, it kind of covers it.
i haven't started growing my beard until i was 16/17 and i now i am 19 and i still have a goate and little bit on the sides and it's patchy on the sides missing alot of spots and i have bumfluff type of beard so i have to use beard dye hopefully it will get it's colour when i turn 20 or 21.
I'm 14 and I can grow some sideburns, and a little bit of chin hair with a thin moustache that's just passed the point of peach fuzz, but too thin and light in color to be a full moustache.
At 15, I’m able to grow “thin” or “stringy” facial hair on my upper lip, chin, half of my neck (annoyingly) and sideburns. It’s never neat and I’m scared it’ll stay that way and won’t become thicker and more fuller.
I know this video is four years old but I need advice, and I have a few questions to ask. I'm 14, and already have a mustache (had it for two years already) and I've been growing some patchy hair on my cheeks for a few months now. How long will it take for that hair to fill out? Why don't I have hair on my chin? I want to grow a goatee. Does shaving it have any effect? And is there a difference between manually shaving with a razor and using an electric one?
Hey I'm 15 my mustache started growing when I'm 12 and my beard slowly started when I'm 14 after that I trimmed my beard 3 times but it growed back so I shaved it came back thick and more
I’m 17 and I’m starting to get a beard like it’s not full whatsoever but I’m starting to get hella hair on my face bro and like I see all this other high schoolers with like no hair on their face and they look so clean
I knew guys in high school who could grow really thick, long and full beards by the age of 16. I’m here in my mid 20’s (26 to be exact) and still can’t grow a full beard, I still have big sparse patches.
I'm 19 right now and can not grow a beard at all, just a peach fuss mustache. For the last 6 months Ive been on medication that slows down my testosterone production, really sucks because I really want one, it's so cool and a sign of maturity.
Great seeing the younger version of the bearded baron and the different styles which l also pretty much had the same but lucky for everyone else l don’t have photos lol
I shaved for the first time when I was around 16/17. But it was almost nothing, just a bit at the chin, but it was barely seeable. Now I‘m 22 and it’s almost the same. It’s just a bit harder at the chin and there is a bit growth above the mouth, but also not very recognizable. The hairs on my cheeks are even less and they are light so they are 100% invisible. It looks so stupid to grow it out and takes a lot of time just to have some seeable stubbles from a closer distance. After shaving I have no seeable beard growth. Funny how genetics work.
Great video. All I could really grow was side burns and moustache as early as 13 for the moustache, and then 14/15 for the sideburns. Early 20's for the rest to fill in. Still a little patchy, but I'm sure we all have something about our beards we don't like :P
so, im 18 (Scottish) i have a moustache, some cheek hair coming down from my head hair, a small bit under my lower lip, and on my chin. its nothing amazing. but time should fix that

@@kallebanan1924 I can se a couple of little hairs on my sideburns too but they are really lite and barely visable. Hope we can grow more beard soon.😀

Had the old dirt stache’ at 16. Didn’t shave regularly until I was in my 20’s. Still takes me a month to grow a decent goatee.
im 16 and have not shave sinced before school and i have a really good not there yet but good mustace hair on my cheeks chin and i have a mustace no beard yet but its a start my plan is not to shave anymore
I am 16 and have a full beard (indian male)
Feel grateful
I have beard but its only visible to me (like very thin hair) ,im nearly 18😕
Let’s combine facial hair
Don't worry mine was, only started to take it off at 19 then had to wait until over 30 to get a good even beard
That like me but my mom said I have a mustache but it just thin hair under my nose but I have some hair on face and I'm 16.
I was 11 and started to have to shave, even had surgery to remove the moles on my face around my lip nose, I would cut them when i shaved..I was a hairy kid tho at 13 hair on every knucle even on my toes. I was in military class so i had to be clean...
I'm 15 and a half, got a mustache und way too fast growing sideburns. Gotta shave weekly.
I’m 16 and everyone on both sides of my family had facial hair at my age but I don’t what is wrong with me
I've 16 and have been getting hairs on my chin and on my side of my face and i also already have a mustache
My friend had a full beard at 13 I swear I can't believe he's normal
Lol I'm 13 and a Half and I'm starting to grow one already lol
His testosterone levels must be really high, holy shit

I’ve had a Peach fuzz mustache since 5th grade and in 7th grade it became thick and dark, and in 8th grade I got side burns and cheek hair and a soul patch, the last thing that grew was my chin hair in 9th grade but now I’m in 10th grade and I can grow a full beard but I still have to keep it light because they dont allow it in my school
(Btw I’m middle eastern so it’s not actually something special over here everyone is hairy, although I still grew it a little earlier than most of people I know)
I’m 17 and I don’t really want a beard but I want a mustache and that’s pretty much the only part of my face that I don’t have dark hair growing
I have had a full beard since 16
I’m 20 now, I can grow sideburns and a full neck beard but almost nothing in my cheeks. Sad
@Buddy Ol pal yeah man atleast we have something haha
I'm 13 almost 14 and I started having facial hair
I didn't even shave until 19, and couldn't grow a beard until at least 30 patience.
Patience is key!
@@thebeardbaron Exactly.
I turned 16 just about 2 weeks ago, not a full beard but right now my high density area is my lamb chops
Only 15 and have all the components of a beard and and blessed to have it connecting not fully but its there in the sense of I just need those couple of hairs to grow out a lot more especially near my cheeks to the tache and goate
I'm 14 going on 15 in a month and i have a pretty legit mustache and my chin hair is coming in and my side burns are too 0-0
im gonna be 16 in 4 months and i only now see my mustache starting to grow and its going pretty slow, I guess thats ok cus I started puberty at 14.
I am 18 but I have thin hair at my chicks and a baby moustache till now and a few pitch buzz i hope it will grow into a full coarse beard.
This quality is too good
I had a full beard at 15 i was so blessed
🥺☹
I grew a full beard at 19. Coming back stronger now at age 21.
My cousin is 21 and has a full as beard. He the beard since he was a freshman. I’m 13 and I have a peach fuzz mustache and little chin hair.
I started my facial hair growth near the middle.of 6th grade at about 13, but I haven't had too much progress over 4 years (17 now) but I do have pretty fast growing hair as when I shave it pretty much comes back after 3 days
Thanks for sharing! Age will definitely continue to help :)
Thank you for watching! Oh the infamous beard itch, your beard looks great in your photo!
I thought I was the only one who did no shave November
i haven't started growing my beard until i was 16/17 and i now i am 19 and i still have a goate and little bit on the sides and it's patchy on the sides missing alot of spots and i have bumfluff type of beard so i have to use beard dye hopefully it will get it's colour when i turn 20 or 21.
Stay patient, with age it should become thicker & more full!
Hey I'm 15 my mustache started growing when I'm 12 and my beard slowly started when I'm 14 after that I trimmed my beard 3 times but it growed back so I shaved it came back thick and more
I have had a beard at age 12 i had a 3 to 4 cm beard but no mustache
I’m 17 and I’m starting to get a beard like it’s not full whatsoever but I’m starting to get hella hair on my face bro and like I see all this other high schoolers with like no hair on their face and they look so clean
Don’t worry my guy I’m a 14 year old with a mini beard
I knew guys in high school who could grow really thick, long and full beards by the age of 16. I’m here in my mid 20’s (26 to be exact) and still can’t grow a full beard, I still have big sparse patches.
At least you have facial hair so don’t act like that’s an accomplishment
I rocked a chin strap in high school 😂😭🖐️
im 16 my disconnected goatee is stringly i had hair on my chin since 14 and it still hasnt thicken up or fill the patches in
When I was a freshman in high school there was a kid who was same class and had a full beard
My beard start to grow at 14 really. Full beard start at 17
I use to wear a chinstrap in my teens. That was actually the first facial hair I was able to grow.
I’m 13 and I just started growing beard in about a year I’ll shave
I'm 19 right now and can not grow a beard at all, just a peach fuss mustache. For the last 6 months Ive been on medication that slows down my testosterone production, really sucks because I really want one, it's so cool and a sign of maturity.
Nah it just shows how old and brittle you look
Man your channel and videos are great. I just placed another order for three different types of mustache wax from your site. Great stuff!
Awesome! Thank you so much, I appreciate the support!
I am 13 and I have a mustache, I shaved it a month ago and it grew fully back this week
I just got like 6 long chin hairs but my mustache is full but won’t grow long
I'm 13. My facial hair is growing in. It's shedding a lot, but it seems to be growing back thicker.
Great seeing the younger version of the bearded baron and the different styles which l also pretty much had the same but lucky for everyone else l don’t have photos lol

@@thebeardbaron can you do a 1940s military mustache look I'm a ww2 reenactor and I'm 14 so ni real facial hair yet and I want to see the 40s look
You are one of the lucky guys who can completely change their appearance with just a razor. Nice solid beard.
Guess I'll just start rocking Wolverine sideburns since that's where it's not patchy and that's where I have most hairs lol.
I've wanted to grow a beard for sooo long and i've finally started half inch blonds at 14,
mine started at my latter half of 12 years old, and i shaved for the first time right around my 13th birthday
Thanks for sharing! :) And we are usually our own worst critics!
so, im 18 (Scottish) i have a moustache, some cheek hair coming down from my head hair, a small bit under my lower lip, and on my chin. its nothing amazing. but time should fix that
Time most definitely can only help! :)
I've had a mustache when I was 13
i started growing facial hair at around 13 😟
