My big problem with the approach is that the club identifies their needs and priorities and rather than getting the player into training and preparing for the upcoming season earlier rather than later they want to save money that they already said they were willing to spend. The only way this makes sense is if these players (Fofana, Pavlovic, etc) are not their real targets but are just smokescreens to hide their real intentions.

In my opinion, AC Milan hides behind the claim of making "long-term investments." Yet, we're far from seeing this in action, as the club seems willing to sell young players for financial reasons. Currently, AC Milan is more financially stable compared to previous seasons, so why not focus on developing our young talent to lead the team in the future, like Arsenal and Barcelona do? Maldini, the greatest defender I've seen, recognized Thiaw as a perfect fit for AC Milan, and Thiaw delivered in his first season before injuries affected his form. Newcastle is seeing the same thing. AC Milan should have faith in their young players instead of selling them at the first opportunity, as might happen with Luka Romero, who has the potential to one day wear the number 7 jersey for AC Milan. The club should commit to keeping Thiaw.
Monaco is litteraly giving Milan a discount with the 18 mill and Milan is still low balling 😂😂🤦♂️ if I were Milan I’m paying that 18 mill for Fofana and calling it a day lol

management is really bad like buying 25 million for fofana aint that hard and they offer 12 millions but i think pobega has to go so that deal is pretty good
Milan need to close in on key signings fast and not wait until 31st of August. The team only has one month to gel with Fonseca, therefore it doesn't make sense to be dragging on deals on key departments that needs improvement.
I agree with the low ball sentiment, this is the only thing that irritates me with this management. I get that they're trying to be shrewd with the money, but it prolongs the deals if they start too low. Whilst not the same level, I sell a lot of items on Vinted. If, for example I have an item listed at £12 and someone offers £7 or less, then I know they're just wasting my time. If they come in at £8.50/9 I'll meet them half way. Three biggest issue, that not many realise is that originally the budget was approx €90-100m relying on the sales of Saelaemakers and de Ketelaere. Unfortunately, Bologna changed their mind with Alexis and it's since been revealed that the money for Charles won't arrive until February, so we're now talking approximately €40m less. Hence why they've gone to plan B for signings.
Yes ,after they made us feel Maldini was the problem is very clear this management don't know there priorities and Cardinale said he likes winning is this how to win .. anything that would come out of this mercato wouldn't be a surprise to me.....am watching
There are 2 ways to look at this, either the management is too passive in its approach and is often getting caught in decision paralysis or they already have backup players ready to go for in case a deal doesn’t materialise on their terms. Coupled with multiple conflicting reports that Monaco owner got angry and raised the asking price and Longo mentioning that 35 mil is not the correct number fans just lose their patience. Everything will be forgiven if we get the player that brings in quality, you can be linked to xyz player all summer and fail but the alternative you prepared should deliver otherwise the fault is with the management.
Teremi’s deal falling through was fine. Hes good but not a solution. Zirkee falling through is great because im far more optimistic about Morata. Turam is sad in hindsight but I honestly doubt he would have done well in Pioli’s system and we’d likely be having a much different convo if he didn’t come in. I’m more than happy to be patient and get players in on good deals. As an Italian club it is important to be principled in your financial business. The whole reason Milan crumbled after Berlusconi was exactly because he was frivolous and bought his success with the future of the club; which we paid for with a decade of mediocrity. So I’m okay with being patient and making sure the future of the club isn’t sacrificed with a few players that may or may not perform well in the long term.
Think about the players who still haven’t renewed and seeing the lack of ambition by the club that keeps lowballing. Chances are they’ll lowball the salary negotiations as well. Shambles I tell you.
These guys don't seem to have the needed skills in the Mercato. Kush I even get to wonder how Taremi who was pursued by Milan last summer ended at Inter this summer for free.
The problem is this new management doesn’t have any experience, Mocanda is a scouter, Furlani is a finance guy and Zlatan is new into the scene and still learn not even sure if he has enough power to get things done yet.I said it many times after Maldini’s leaving Milan needed someone who has experience leading the club and honestly this type of strategy is rubbish and insulting… basically they close an agrement with a player and they leave the player do all the work hoping the clubs will just drop the price to 50% off.
Zlatan was a genius on the pitch. One of the greatest of all time in my opinion. But let’s be real, his personality and temperament does not seem conducive to being a good club director. Just because someone is good at something doesn’t mean they can do everything. I thought Milan was keeping this guy as a symbolic figure sort of Zanetti at Inter. But if this club is entrusting their mercato to this guy. Oh boy are they in for a disappointment. Just my 2 cents.
Milan literally have the brightest future in Italy at the moment. If you pay attention to the landscape of the Serie A and not just Milan there’s A LOT to be optimistic about.
@@-keiskx1774 Not at all. They’re in huge financial troubles. They just signed an unproven coach. Their squad is pretty mid. I don’t really see anything to be excited about for Juve. They need to play their situation very tight to see any success in the next decade. I really wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t win the league or do anything in the UCL for the next 10 years unless something completely unexpected happens.
We are officially a scouting club for other teams. If I were any agent, I will just travel to the Bahamas and follow Milan’s interests. They’d do all the scouting for me while I swoop in to get it done for my club.
This was what happened last season when players were bought late like Chukwueze and he struggled to peak last season until the end. MILAN ISN’T A SERIOUS CLUB WHEN IT COMES TO NEGOTIATION POWER. It’s not rocket science !!!
I don't expect anything from the team for next season anyway becuase it's a new coach with new ideas in a though league, but from the managment I really wanted them to work and fight for players not like previous years. absolutely disappointed
I've just realised, our mercato movements are just like our team's movements in possession, slow, clunky, underperforming, and takes forever.... Still hopeful Forza Milan 🔴⚫
Pavlovic trash samarsic was great for half a season in a team that was horrible. We don't need any of them. We have great players in those positions. We absolutely do not need any of them. We have an overflow in midfield and center backs. The only thing we need is a center defending midfielder and s striker although I'd argue even against that, put more faith in what we already have, we can't sit and collect players who are not going to play, we have milan future already, what else do we need?? We have okafor who hasn't played alot, I promise that we don't need anything else exept for maybe fofana.
Milan management has become a joke since Li’s takeover down to the current owners. We drag transfers for so long it annoys the heck out of me. Everything always looks shady with us. We never know what our real budget is in every market. We just hear figures without actions. Then when everything goes south, we start attacking directors and coaches. How do we expect the coach to work with these uncertainty in the market? Even the players will have to wait all summer without a proper preseason. If I were the players, I won’t ever want to wait for Milan. Sven Botman waited till eternity for his transfer before moving to Newcastle. This management will find it hard to sign a player on free agent with their low balling negotiation.😢😢😢
I would also like to mention that we are easily ignoring the bonus in 14mil+Bonus, from what I have heard, many times the structure of our deals is like 14mi fixed plus 9 mil bonus of which 6 mil is easily achievable like Milan finishing top 4 or Fofana having 10 appearances. The journos have no idea what the bonus amount is.
Ok realistically we're playing Pobega as our DM and a no name defender from a lower table team. By the way, it's true Atletico Madrid scouting team is just watching AC Milan transfer news, Fulkrug also was linked to them before they bought Dobyk
this is my though of players ac milan are intrested in and wants to buy fofana: get him we need him emerson royal: he is horrible dont get him even for free samardic: if adli and bennacer leaves the get him fullkrug: dont really care get him or not pavlovic: another cheap bang average cb but we need him The problem with ac milan is that they are way to cheap not every player has to be expensive but ewery transfer has to be under 20 mil is a bit annoying
Furlani needs to be fired and Moncada if he does not deliver by the next season needs to be fired. This is just negotiating in bad faith. We sold players and have the money for this and this should be a closed deal. If not they need to cash out for Richard Rios or seriously have a good alternative in mind. We need a good CDM or a box to box midfielder with those capabilities. This is just taking the piss at this point. Sorry but Fofana is not worth 30 mil with a year on his contract. It aggravates me to no end that we do not consider any South American players especially because so many of them are not well known and inexpensive until they become well known and 60mil. By next year Richard Rios will be that exact price and playing for Chelsea. If this is not done Furlani and Moncada have to be fired. I’ll give Ibra 3 more windows to see if he can implement this project. If not this team should be scrapped and we should use all the money to rebuild in a different direction.
Kush you gotta stop apologizing for objectively substandard management. We need to hold management to the same standard as the team on the pitch, and they are performing absolutely awfully right now.
I'm just going to leave recruitment to the management. They have their ways, last season wasn't a flop. The problem is we're unable to capitalize in offloading players
While others overspend, Milan stay within their means which allows them to be neutral and even profitable - Atlético and ManU being the two most indebted clubs in all of football without anything to show for, by the way. The defining factor in successful transfers and implementations, is the player; not just his willingness to move to a club but his career priority as a catalyst. Does he want money or legacy? If he wants the money, do what Kessie, Donnarumma and others like them, grab the money, and end up a couch stain in football history. But, if the player wants to achieve legacy through career longevity then it’s absolutely paramount that he and his agent align with a successful project. Without this in mind, it becomes a nickel and dime show between the parties involved, and players aligned in this manner do not deserve to wear the Milan shirt.
What are you talking about? Are you trying to say this milan is a successful project? Did you watch last season. You speak like someone who has watched milan for the first time last season. If these guys want a successful career, they don't need to move to milan they just have to perform well where ever they go and they get paid well doing it outside milan. So again what are you talking about
@@kratos4life It’s not important what you or I think. What’s important, is what the players think - and whether or not they envision themselves being successful at the club e.g. playing minutes, role, style of play, coaching, management etc.
Everything you mentioned is true but money is also important. No one who has value would want to work for a lesser job. Because the amount milan are offering clearly show they don't value you as a player. Money is a very real reality in football. Like I said non of these players owe anything to milan. These players can have everything you mention outside of milan. If they are good players they will have nothing to worry about and if they are not good enough then they will struggle everywhere they go. So no one needs milan to get playing time if they are good players
@@kratos4life Yes, money is important. Keep in mind, Milan have difficulty agreeing transfer fees not personal terms with players. The first mistake players make is in choosing representation. When I see brothers, fathers, mothers (who are deeply unqualified) representing players - makes me wanna crawl out of my skin. Just take Samardzić as an example. His “father-agent” is now responsible for two failed transfers to important clubs. Instead of being an important piece of a big club, he’s a secondary player at Udinese. To your point about whether or not Milan is a successful project - just try to see it from a players’ perspective. Tomori, Thiaw, Hernandez, Leao, Kalulu, Bennacer, Pulisic, Giroud, Maignan, Diaz, Tonali, Kessie - are all players who were utter ghosts in the game - and are now significantly better and more marketable by being or having been at Milan. This is the only profitable club in Serie A and one of few in Europe - not to mention one of four most important clubs in the world of football by number of world titles (second to Real). I agree with you that titles is what’s missing, but to call this Milan an unsuccessful project is an exaggeration.
When i said these guys were failures, i was told that i was a fake fan... then when the coach cant deliver, you fire him. Id fire Zlatan and his band of misfits because milan is losing its soul.
What a joke, that's what you get for firing Maldini and Massaro, Furlani is lost, he will just pick anyone in the end of Mercato and find excuses what a joke. Milan Mercato is a shittt show.
If I were a club like Monaco and an offer comes in that comically below my players value (whether he is in the last year of his deal or not) I just ignore it and don't even bother engaging in discussions. Not worth my time and if they aren't serious enough to give a decent offer in good faith then I just walk away.
I can tell you someone who isn't going anywhere. This management, is mediocre.

I am tired of this management....if it continues like this acmilan would still trail behind intermilan and juventus and even Napoli
Kush what is it do you think this management see in Zlatan that was lacking in Maldini ?
for center back i want quality of over quantity as long as we have 3-4 we feel we can rely on
Teremi’s deal falling through was fine.
Kush I even get to wonder how Taremi who was pursued by Milan last summer ended at Inter this summer for free.
what happened to the 80M?????😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
this is hilarious
The problem is this new management doesn’t have any experience, Mocanda is a scouter, Furlani is a finance guy and Zlatan is new into the scene and still learn not even sure if he has enough power to get things done yet.I said it many times after Maldini’s leaving Milan needed someone who has experience leading the club and honestly this type of strategy is rubbish and insulting… basically they close an agrement with a player and they leave the player do all the work hoping the clubs will just drop the price to 50% off.
No Füllkrug No Fofana ... this makes me real sad if real
Thuram now fofana. This management is taking the club back to dark ages.
also Zirkzee and Taremi last season... And those are only the cases that we know about.
Milan literally have the brightest future in Italy at the moment. If you pay attention to the landscape of the Serie A and not just Milan there’s A LOT to be optimistic about.
@@kylerodd2342Juventus has the brightest future be real
This club never ever learns
So I'm guessing that's a definite NO for the Fulkrug move huh?
Furlani should be fired with rest of clowns…..
AGAIN..??
I don't expect anything from the team for next season anyway becuase it's a new coach with new ideas in a though league, but from the managment I really wanted them to work and fight for players not like previous years. absolutely disappointed
I've just realised, our mercato movements are just like our team's movements in possession, slow, clunky, underperforming, and takes forever.... Still hopeful
Forza Milan 🔴⚫
How many quality players are they going to lose because of sole focus of only finances!
We shouldn't sell Thiaw.
It would be a mistake, as for Yacine Adli...
Freaking weird 😮 They sell the talents that brought to the club by Maldini. Thiaw showed himself a top player and he deserves more respect
Atletico is pissed at the way we handled the Morata deal
I would also like to mention that we are easily ignoring the bonus in 14mil+Bonus, from what I have heard, many times the structure of our deals is like 14mi fixed plus 9 mil bonus of which 6 mil is easily achievable like Milan finishing top 4 or Fofana having 10 appearances. The journos have no idea what the bonus amount is.
Looks like Milan was able to tempt them with those bonuses as you mentioned! Deal done with €20m + €5 million in bonuses which is extensive!
Ok realistically we're playing Pobega as our DM and a no name defender from a lower table team.
By the way, it's true Atletico Madrid scouting team is just watching AC Milan transfer news, Fulkrug also was linked to them before they bought Dobyk
Ac lowball
this is my though of players ac milan are intrested in and wants to buy
fofana: get him we need him
emerson royal: he is horrible dont get him even for free
samardic: if adli and bennacer leaves the get him
fullkrug: dont really care get him or not
pavlovic: another cheap bang average cb but we need him
The problem with ac milan is that they are way to cheap not every player has to be expensive but ewery transfer has to be under 20 mil is a bit annoying
There still is a chance due to Manchester trying to buy Ugarte and Atletico already buying different transfers such as dobryk.
im tired ..milan cant bay one good player.
If not this team should be scrapped and we should use all the money to rebuild in a different direction.
why don't they consider free agents? 🤔
Ibrah is a bum get him gone asap he’d rather spend time with speed than do deals for the club he claims to love
Why don't we give the academy players more chances
I have been following you for a while and I really enjoy your videos, but I don't understand everything you say and I hope you add Arabic translation.
When i said these guys were failures, i was told that i was a fake fan... then when the coach cant deliver, you fire him. Id fire Zlatan and his band of misfits because milan is losing its soul.
We don't need zlatan in that position. We need proper management and Furlani and Scaroni are shit
Podcast Rossoneri ❤️🖤🇸🇪🎙️
What a joke, that's what you get for firing Maldini and Massaro, Furlani is lost, he will just pick anyone in the end of Mercato and find excuses what a joke. Milan Mercato is a shittt show.
If I were a club like Monaco and an offer comes in that comically below my players value (whether he is in the last year of his deal or not) I just ignore it and don't even bother engaging in discussions. Not worth my time and if they aren't serious enough to give a decent offer in good faith then I just walk away.
Fofana, Pavlovic, Samardzic.
What Milan doing is just vwindow shopping.
Am sick and tired of milan no management alway looking for discount.
Atleti are cheap stakes too
A coconut water budget.... 😂😂😂😂
do you think we can sign hermoso
Who is responsible for the slow negotiations and penny pinching? Milan can afford these low asking prices
What the hell are the americans doing? Get Maldini back
If we can sell Thiaw for 40m get pavlovic for under 25m then sign Hermoso on a free that would be some crazy buisness
we also don't need Samardzic for the love of god we have a gazillion offensive midfielders. What are these people doing.
We have no AM bruh
Krunic and RLC aren’t AM
Pulsic and Samardzic are the only proper AM
Hummels and pavlovic
