    That white custome is called Eyo Masquerade, a very symbolic annual Lagos festival, particulaly on the Lagos Island. So it a costume symbolic to Lagos State not Rivers. Beautiful content by the way.

    The first statue is actually Eyo and they are unique to Lagos not Rivers.

    It is the Eyo Masquerade and it significantly represents Lagos island culture in Lagos State!

    Like honestly, the only thing the other capitals in west Africa have over Abuja is the ocean, non of them can step to Abuja non; Accra, Abijan, Dakar, Lome, Banjul, Cotonou etc.

      @@franrichroday8663 You are confusing beauty and proper infrastructure, Abuja is green, very green, good roads, fantastic restaurants, Malls, tourist attractions, properly planned and not cramped like accra and will eventually rise with the buildings that are coming up that are not yet built alongside the highways. They don't sell land to people in abuja anyhow and that is why it looks organized and you can't deny it looking at this video and this is niot even the best video of abuja, David abeg no vex ha ha ha ha.

    The first artwork you saw is Eyo artwork, it is not a Rivers State cultural artwork, rather it is a Lagos State cultural symbol.
    Be careful to be sure you know what things are before you put words out. Some people look at videos like this for educational purpose.

      That's not toatally true, the lshekiris have Eyo as well with a slight modification.lt is possible that most riveran areas/states in Nigeria have Eyo with modifications of the years.

      Not just Nigerians, I have heard some Ghanaians say that as well but you know English was acquired. What gets me the most are the Africans that speak English who move to the west and still mispronounce words even after 20 yrs of living in America.

    Abuja is overrated. There is a lot missing. There is no attention to detail. I don't like that about the city!

      Definitely, like if you go na have traffic light, Lanes on the roads, double yellow line etc, make it universal. Go to Capetown or Sandton in south africa and see what I am talking about. Hopefully we will elect people with knowledge to do these things.
