Great video. My fridge is a very similar model and has what appears to be the same problem. Thank you.

Great video. Does the fridge have to be slightly tilted back for the water to drain or should it just be level? Thanks

Tried this, but I think my issue is actually that the tray in the fridge is misaligned, so the outgoing water is missing the drain entirely. Any idea if that’s a thing, and if the solution is to just buy a new tray?

Anything can happen, but I would make sure before replacing anything.

Hey u wouldnt to happen to diagnose a kenmore fridge that the ice maker isnt plugged, yet the top freezer keeps getting a sheet of ice on the bottom. I actually removed the ice maker because i wanted the extra space.

8:26…I hope you’re not overloading your presumably 20 amp kitchen circuit, judging by that multiple outlet addon that you have to the right of your fridge (with 3 items plugged in). The fridge alone would be about 6 1/2 amps(like mine).
Re: your video, good presentation. My 23-year-old HotPoint is not leaking yet. But I will be sure to consult your video if it ever does. These new hi-tech appliances they make nowadays are all junk. It’s been a good fridge. The only problem is it’s missing the temperature control knob in the freezer compartment.

Marshall Curtis thanks for the feedback, however, the Refrigerator is on a separate circuit not shown and the multi plug is only for usb cell chargers. I appreciate the concern👍
