I really love all of the little details and the backstory behind it all. I find F to be a very sympathetic character because of what he went through, and that he didnt deserve death. Sure, he may have killed other letters throughout, but it seemed like he just wanted his friends back even if doing it by force. What also makes him so sympathetic is not only was he not evil from the start, but also because everyone backstabbed and hurt him for something that wasnt even his fault. By the eclipse symbol that Z cried in the end, I have a feeling that it may not be the end yet, and maybe there will be a happy ending after all
I love how clever it was to make them into the objects they spell out like a “Cab” and or a “Gun” this lil mini movie just has all these lil details that make it better then it already is
If you really think about it, it shows how relationships can change, N and F were great friends and F would always stick up for N, but when the tables turned N wouldn’t do the same. My theory is that they are both cowards and all the blame was shifted to F because of the embarrassment he endured and his action as he grew older resulting in N, his best friend killing him. Their relationship went from friends for life to enemies for life.
I keep wanting more. This story is incredible and tragic, and I can’t help but crave more from this world. The attention to detail is FANTASTIC. Upon rewatches you can see things such as how F shows immense disdain for L and O specifically, the fact that F puts the gem down instead of trying to fight N showing that they want something else, and how F kills J instantly because they broke F’s teeth. But honestly since F bumped into R, R should’ve been able to tell that it wasn’t intentional.
When I first watched this, I though F was just gonna be the antagonist, but no, he had a VERY good reason to hurt everyone and you know, Z is the one that had witness this all. Q never got the chance to warn his friends, and F....never got any respect because of something he didnt do. Its like a meme, yet a whole Disney movie at the same time. Great job man, great job.
The thing that I love the most is that theres no dialogue yet it tells such a cool story and shows of so much personality in the characters. Obviously theres a few words like why or gg, but these are just jokes and theres the spellings of coward and friends, but they wouldnt make sense without the context.
I wished this was showed when I was in preschool this is legendary. So lets make sure that everyone watches this masterpiece and remember it as memories in the future.
It’s honestly amazing. I watched the whole thing ever since C on Newgrounds. The way it starts off as silly, then gets more detailed, and a more interesting story along the way. One of the best small cartoon series I’ve ever seen.
Honestly, I love that G is speaking in morse code almost the whole time. His introduction is morse code for G, he called C, A, and B all in morse code, said P in morse code, and so on and so forth.
I.... I dont know what even to say about this masterpiece, its a whole freaking anime, a completed movie with a really cool backstory that also teaching us about friendship, family and things like that... Good job!
I feel bad for Q. His whole life he’s been slowly chasing everyone, but then they leave when Q is just out of reach, and he has to start all over again. He’s been traumatized since he saw the vision, and has been going as fast as he can to warn the others of the tragedy to come. At least now, he can finally rest.
i actually feel sorry for F.. he tried standing up on his friend and everyone hated him. even his best friend who he was trying to protect left and abandoned him out of fear and cowardness.
I think Z represents us, the viewers. All Z could do was see how this sad story progressed over time. The same can be said about the viewers except the story only lasted 15 minutes for us.
I feel bad for F and Q. F was trying to get friends but he accidently made a swear word. Which wasn’t even his fault, which lead him to be one of the most hated, spending his whole life watching everyone celebrate while he is alone in his cave… Q tries to warn the others but he’s too slow. And he’s alone too. No one to help him. And when it already happened he’s too late, he never gets any help, F for both of them
The F is not the actual villian like we thought from the start, all of the punctuations are Fs not the L,M,N,O,P. F only kills the letters that fight him earlier and captures the letters from the word friend. The L and O is the actual villian on other hand. The story was so deep I need to watch it multiple times to understand all.
I know it mustve been tragic for F and Q and even N but how about Z? Z had to sit through it all. Z witnessed everything but couldnt do anything to stop it. I think Z might have even had the most tragic story out of all of them. Z witnessed F getting bullied along with a couple other letters that didnt do anything about it. But Z didnt have a chance to do anything about it. The other letters did. Z is the only letter no one can blame yet, he had to watch it all. Z had no choice.
I just realized in the "n" part, they were lower cased letters while in the other episode, they were upper cased. This means that "F" got evil after being exiled. And that the real villains were "o" and l"
This series had a stronger emotional impact on me than most tv shows and movies nowadays. nZ made me cry, especially when baby q realized he had to warn everyone, "guys! Guys, you have to listen to me! Guys, wait!" like a modern Cassandra

I read the book as a child. So glad to see the movie stayed faithful to the original

I’ve watched this like 4 times already, I still can’t get over how beyond hilarious this is
This is better than Word World. Excellent story and amazing details.

love how ns hair turns him into ñ and he pronounces it as such, loved that.

Never thought I’d be this invested on a small series about the alphabet, but here we are
Wow i never realised how quick time passed we were hyped for this when it released everyone was talking about alphabet lore
It’s honestly amazing. I watched the whole thing ever since C on Newgrounds. The way it starts off as silly, then gets more detailed, and a more interesting story along the way. One of the best small cartoon series I’ve ever seen.

I thought this was something for kids I could laugh at but no, I found a masterpiece of lore and story with plot twists FROM THE ALPHABET!
I.... I dont know what even to say about this masterpiece, its a whole freaking anime, a completed movie with a really cool backstory that also teaching us about friendship, family and things like that... Good job!
i kinda like how Z is the world the letters live on, we defo need a 2.0 version of this man.
10:33 seek chase moment
No joke, This is one of the best animated videos on the internet, sounds like a meme concept but dang this is a MASTERPIECE

The finale gives, “Press F to Pay Respects” a whole other meaning.
i actually feel sorry for F.. he tried standing up on his friend and everyone hated him. even his best friend who he was trying to protect left and abandoned him out of fear and cowardness.
I love how Just cuz F hit/ran over G he followed after him like a Villain

The plot twist at the end, many villains are just broken in heart, the Q knowing everything but being so slow he cant tell them? Wow
Ah, i remember when this and Numberblocks were everywhere.
The fact that an animator manage to make one of the most tragic stories with the alphabet is saying something
This looks like something a kindergarten teacher would show to their students but turned into an epic cinematic masterpiece
13:26 perfect example of "Villans dose,nt born, they are maded"
Everyone is talking about Fs tragic story begun but, Noone is talking about how Q spent his whole life tryna catch up with the others.
Why in tf was this actually emotional
I like how the lowercase letters are younger versions of the capital letters.
The F is not the actual villian like we thought from the start, all of the punctuations are Fs not the L,M,N,O,P. 1:26 I FOUND THE THING make sure to pause it
Crazy how this is 2 years old, felt like it was yesterday this went viral
As a Spanish speaker, I absolutely adore how N turns into Ñ and even pronounces it correctly "enye"
This series had a stronger emotional impact on me than most tv shows and movies nowadays. nZ made me cry, especially when baby q realized he had to warn everyone, "guys! Guys, you have to listen to me! Guys, wait!" like a modern Cassandra
