    given how intense the crafting can get with Powah ... autocrafting is your best friend ... once you teach all the recipes for the materials and devices its super easy to just order what you want and have it made for you

      I’m trying to figure out how to automate energizing without modular routers. I’m not mentally prepared for modular routers yet. If I get that figured out before Creo, I know how tempted I will be to be a smarty pants about it. There is some element of virtue to my laziness, I suppose.

    the thermogenerator goes ON TOP OF the lava source ... the closeness of the heat source is what gives you better power generation

    • @Creothina

      They’re already on top of the source :D I was just copying what I saw in the book so I’ll be removing the one in front since I only need the one below.

    you don't need a space between the thermal generators you just need the soul lava under it and a provid it with water.

    • @ColinPaddock

      Is soul lava better for the thermals than blaze crystal blocks? They’d have to be a lot better than 280% to make it worth dealing with lava again, but if it was like 400/500% I’d consider it.

    I am happy you got into Powah and made such great strides in your last episode ... it's such an awesome mod with so many options and ways to obtain power ... the sky's the limit and you really can play it in anyway you like ... there is no one correct way to do stuff in Powah .. any info I give is just me trying to help you out with stuff you might not know or might not have figured out yet at the time I commented. And ... I absolutely love the puns (dad jokes) ... especially in video titles!

      Thank you Birdie :D I couldn't agree more and honestly it really is a cute mod...I love the aesthetic of it and the design of the machines so I'll be sticking with it for sure. I always appreciate all of the help you give so keep the tips coming because I've learnt a lot from you.

    The reason there are 2 thermo generators in the book is to show that you can use magma blocks as a heat source as well as lava. It's also has lava and a magma block in front of the generators for displaying purposes. They don't need lava in front, just directly underneath.

    For machines that are as close together as the stuff in your house, it would likely be economical to attach one flux point to a bunch of machines connected by power cables/pipes.

    if there is no model of a mob for hostile neural network, you can make a mob swab and grab a dna sample of the mob (such as a deepling) and its super easy to make a mob egg of that mob using the dna sample, a bucket of xp and a seed. You can then make a mob spawner and easily farm up whatever drop you want. I saw someone use the deepling mob that drobs both a heart of the sea and the shells to make tons of conduits easily by having a mob farm kill them in large numbers automatically

    Yeay Powah
    Ohh the thermo generator really is beefy. So the lava pool is infinite then?
    In a way, only trying it now also allows you the option of using soul lava as well as I think the output is definitely more compared to vanilla lava
    Thanks Creo for testing, disregarding the material grind , the setup to use the generator itself doesn't look complicated

    • @Creothina

      Oh it’s beefy and really awesome so I’ll be using it for a long while I’m sure. Lol
      I don’t think the soul lava is infinite but it sure looks that way and yeah the set up isn’t too bad! :D

    • @lushy223

      Thermo generators do not consume the heat source block below them; they just use that block to determine what their output is (as correlated to the "heat" output of the heat block).

    I think they disabled the gui for the energy cells…. But they are still able to store quite a bit. I’d recommend the Ender Cell as it inventory of power can be expanded upon. Once you have an Ender Cell, you open the gui, select a channel and then shift right click a Battery or Energy Cell of any tier from the powah mod, each one will expand the capacity of how much you can store. From there you can craft Ender Gates. The Ender Gates are like the flux points and will transfer a limited amount of fe/tick based on the tier of the gate. They are nice and compact and just get plopped on the side of the block/machine you wish to powah.
    The image in the powah book, is just showing examples of which blocks can be a heat source. The Thermo is better because you can use a hotter source to boost its efficiency and increase the power generation.

      Thanks Spellister! I’ll be adjusting it tomorrow during the next recording but I’m just glad I figured it out and got it to work because those things are pretty awesome. :3

    A nice QoL thing about AE2 is that you can double click on an item and it'll move all of that item into your AE2 storage

    I will say, as somebody who knows a lot about tech mods, watching people make (some actually pretty weird mistakes) is both frustrating and endlessly entertaining. The one thing I actually really dislike is when (and I don't think you do this much) people will declare something to be "impossible" when if they looked at the literal next tab in JEI it has the recipe.
    Still, I don't know what gives people the actual temerity to leave such snarky comments.

    • @Creothina

      People have to understand that I know a lot about a lot of mods....and many of them are tech. Unfortunately if someone hasn't played with the tech mod the commenter is familiar with suddenly the person learning just doesn't know anything at all and they feel the need to explain things like the person is stupid or something. I enjoy learning new mods and Powah just happens to be one of the few tech ones I'm not familiar with which means there will be plenty of times where I stumble around learning things and that's ok because I enjoy it especially when I finally figure something out. If it upsets or drives people crazy they're welcome to click off the video and head elsewhere because I'm not the one that'll put up with their BS. xD
      Also I want to clarify that when I make those statements about the comments it's about a SMALL percentage of people (who I don't interact with) because I am incredibly grateful for those that leave nice helpful comments that gently guide me instead of demanding that I do something. I learn a ton from you guys and I'm thankful for those that take the time to teach me things. :)

    Did you make an HNN model for the guardians? Elder guardians would be great, too, but you’d have to go out and bust multiple monuments to get them up and running.

    • @Creothina

      Lol Keep watching….I do a model for them in the episode and realize I have no use for it.

    • @ColinPaddock

      Yeah. I’d mostly do that for sea lanterns and sponges. I think for a nautilus shell you need drowned.

    • @ColinPaddock

      I do wonder where you find a POSSESSED elder guardian…

  • @TheBirdieBomber

    The elder guardian model upgraded to basic with only two kills!

  • @ColinPaddock

    Well, I figured out why my foes keep running away. In preparation for a Monument run(or three, since I want an elder guardian model), I’m enchanting a set of awakened supremium armor. I found Rebounding X on my atmodium leggings. Hidden in plain sight. Sad, those guys were the source of twenty of my hit points…

    • @Creothina

      Oh wow...that's quite the enchant. lol
      You can remove rebounding without losing the item...just drop it on some obsidian, throw some books on with it and drop an unenchanted anvil on them to take them off. :D

    • @ColinPaddock

      @@CreothinaSadly, that doesn’t appear to work in ATM8. It’s okay, I’ve been upgrading to awakened supremium gear. Mostly for the mining fatigue resistance and water breathing augments. I have a pretty good supply of inferium built up, so the major cost is time and xp for enchanting and reforging. So much time, but now I have an almost full pink health bar with just 2 health V augments, so that’s pretty cool. Even if pink isn’t really my color.
