Honestly since i first fought ryuji ive always respected him but at chapter 12 i finally understood what ryuji wanted from kiryu he didnt wanna kill him or destroy his life he wanted kiryu to give him everything he has and see ryuji as an amazing rival he also wanted to see who was the better dragon
I can't wait. Yakuza 2 was my favourite for this boss fight alone. The music, the scene, the emotion. No malice, no hatred, just two dragons doing the one thing they know.
@@mipo7965 yeah I got it day of release and played the hell out of it. Some bits were a bit disappointing but the boss fight at the end was all I really cared about and that delivered
you know a twist is good when you can say there's a twist and nobody will ever see it coming, even if they guess over and over. you have to see it to believe it.
Ryu was easily my favorite villain (some what) in any game ever considered that he’s not evil just to be evil he’s evil to prove that he’s no bitch and he’s willing to take on the fourth chair man, the dragon of Dojima just to prove he is the one and true dragon to the point where he’s willing to blow his self up just to finish the fight
Sorry to say that but Ryuji is really dead, since Dead Souls is a Spin off and Non Canon game, for the alternative universe they imagined a "what if Ryuji would have survived his wound"
Very rarely has a video game or a series made me cry over a villians death, this is one of those few that had me balling my eyes out. Thank you Kiwami 2
lol I played on hard but I had all my stats maxed out, he died so fast I barely got to hear the song, and I didn't use any weapons, not even extreme heat.
@Bro Strider fan "Sorta" fixed. I was maxed out for Nishiki fight (Hard) and looking at his HP was like "Got to do it without tiger drop AND heat actions or he'll die 1 hit" but when i did simple rush combo he was down 1,5 bars already. There was some kind of defense system or something, because final Majima was too long without using tiger drop, and here is final boss, just shredding from square combo.
it's kind of a problem with the latest yakuza games where there's so much side content and all of it makes you more powerful, so if you're enjoying it, you'll just go through everything and before you know it you're a god they should just leave legend difficutly on at the start, and recommend it to people that plan on going through all/most of the side content, cause hard difficulty is NOT enough.
The only thing that made final boss a bit better for me is the fact I already was on low hp. And I decided to not heal at all. Fits, considering the context behind it. But yeah, you get way op in this game. And I didn't even do the half of side content.

its surprising how the whole game I wanted Kiryu to bash Ryuji's head in for being a shit but towards the end and in this final act especially I grew to respect the guy def my fav final boss in the series so far as of writing this, you just can't beat a no holds barred fight to the finish with your equal
Talk about epic boss fights, battles and setups - this is up there as one of the GREATEST OF ALL TIME. Against ANY RPG, or SHOOTER, OR WHATEVER ELSE THE FUCK. actually, this is BETTER.
