"I just can't go back to that lifestyle" 😂I've been doing shuv tricks recently and it is annoying to be aware of which way around my board is. Do you ever suffer with knees? I have noticed mine suffer a little after a flat ground session recently, I skate Dragons with risers but also probably need to bend my knees more on landing 🤔 but to be honest just landing the trick takes priority 🤣
I love my egg too but I wish it was longer. Half the time I push and swivel back, my back foot is on the tip of the tail. I know that’s a me thing. I’m just lanky and am getting use to it

It's kinda short but I really felt in love with eggs on 6.1 ventures.. Dope art mate, I mean the whole package, video, editing, skating, music and painting. Dope asf

For whatever reason, my setup for like 4 years was thunder hollow lights and 56mm 97a F4s. Really liked how it felt but I had grown so accustomed to wheelbite that I’m still timid to land not bolts on my Indy’s
im about to start skating at 30, never touched a board in my life ,super out of shape and i hate the monotonous walks ive been doing for a little while,feels more fun learning a skill while hoppefully geting in better shape at the same time, just afraid this may hurt 😆
Just don’t worry about tricks or anything like that, learn how to ride the board and cruise around fluently on a flat smooth surface. That can take months so don’t be discouraged if it feels like you’re making little progress. Good luck, dude. Keep doing the walks and get some cardio in at the same time. Core strength really helps.

I like the dragons and reynolds, one thing I don't like it's like the feedback from the ground is missing if it makes sense. But i am not good skater by any measures
I wish there was a symmetrical shape I could get consistently that isn't girl/chocolate which I won't buy because they are made in China. I'd love one that isn't an egg, as well, with the kicks not too short. Not having a directional deck just makes so much sense. Btw, the difference soft wheels make to the joint wear and tear is definitely no joke! I almost don't want to pop if I get on a homie's board with a 99a lol
Do you think the generator board where you got the egg deck from would consider wheel wells to prevent wheel bite? I would be buying them up haha. Thanks man…
Softer wheels are gonna feel slower, try some better bearings with tighter tolerances... I run diamond hella fast sealed bearings in the powell dragon wheel. Those bearings felt pretty nice when new. Still good but feel more average now. Sometimes I'm hauling ass and use reverts to slow down, I like the wheels for that. I have a subluxation on my back foot ankle so I hate when the revert gets stuck! More pros and cons to it than that but that's the highlight for me.
I always skated poorly, but I was dead serious while it lasted. Then one day I lost all interest, musta dumped at least 200lbs of magazines away... the ones I recall most vividly are shane cross nose grind el toro and diego buchieri longest ollie over a gap.
I'm 50 and my freakin feet always kill me for a day or 2 they feel bruised up...any suggestions on shoes that have the best of both worlds, board feel and comfort...
Try some insoles made for skating. I’m using some remind insoles and they allow me to skate whatever shoe I want. No need to be restricted to some bulky shoe
It’s leaning more towards keeping them on as my main wheel. After about 2 weeks I was swapping them in and out depending on spots but now I’m just running them everywhere and really getting used to them. Helps that they’re a bit smaller now too

I don’t think they offer that but you could always email them and ask. Dowdy has some videos about adding your own wheel wells too 👊

Mild. The only time I really feel the 93duro is doing like a sharp turn on smoother ground, you can feel them sorta grip around corners
