I just got evaluate it for a gait trainer and I wonder if there’s any difference between a gate trainer and the zeen.

Gait trainers are designed to help people learn to walk again after an injury or illness. They are typically used in a rehabilitation setting, under the supervision of a physical therapist. Gait trainers provide support and stability for the user, and they can be adjusted to meet the individual's needs.
Zeen wheelchair walkers are designed to help people with disabilities get around more easily and independently. They are typically used in everyday life, rather than just in a rehabilitation setting. Zeen wheelchair walkers are more versatile than gait trainers, and they can be used for a wider range of activities.
So in a nutshell, gait trainers are used to rehabilitate a person’s mobility whereas the Zeen is used as a piece of adaptive equipment to assist with a person’s everyday mobility. Consider talking with your therapist about their thoughts between the two. 🥰🥰
@@AECorner I have spoke to my physical therapist and my APT about it. Because I potentially have muscular dystrophy and several other health issues. I need a lot more support for walking then what the Zeen has to offer. I wish I can try out the Zeen but because of my physical limitation, they feel that it is best for me to be in a gate trainer. We just placed a order for a brand new Rifton pacer dynamic gate trainer.
Only problem or missing part is there os no wheels to use.
Thanks for your comment @@AllenTax The Zeen has four caster wheels and is meant to be propelled by standing and walking or pedaling with the feet. If the individual needs more assistance with mobility then they would need a standard wheelchair.
