Loving my little D12 :) turning it into a rock crawler after beating the hell out of it whilst stock with a friend who has a D42 :) Now the long wait for parts from China to the UK since not many people stock them here and what they do stock are twice the price. Simple axle flip on the rear and straightening the lower arms has lifted it nicely. I used some little rubber grommets for passing wires through firewalls on cars similar to what you used to lift the body! :) great videos brother!

Another trick I used to get more clearance in the rear of mine was remounting the axle on the bottom of the leaf springs instead of over them, then removed the longest plastic leaf during reinstallation. Very nice work with your lift 👍🏼

Leo is having a blast, but any more pizza and he won't fit in there!
Came across this video after doing some research to help out with a neighbors D12 build. Will have to check out the others you mentioned, also. We're in a cool position where we each have a 3d printer, and we have been spitting D12 parts out like mini factories, lol. Wheel adapters, wheels, tires, body kits, spoilers(?), interiors, you name it, somebody has designed a part for the D12. Right now a van conversion is underway, epoxy and Bondo at the ready!
The printed parts would never survive on a basher, or anything structural for that matter, but for a scale drift build I highly suggest seeing what can be printed (or have printed). After a cursory glance at your channel (Holy S where do you get those amazing vintage Tamiya models?!) a printer would be the perfect next addition to your RC Gang!

@@c.k.hobbyshop3351 For whats its worth my dude, I've owned 2 printers, and would recommend the Creality Ender 3 V2. Basically the Mustang of printers, reliable with a thriving 3rd party market. My other one, a Tevo Tarantula Pro, is cheaper and a real looker, but less popular. If i need a part, i may be up a creek!
