This is the most quality vlog I’ve ever seen in my life
The buildings of the palaces you are seeing are only 30 to 50 percent of their original appearance. The reason is that the most beautiful buildings in the palaces during the 36 years of the Japanese colonial rule were torn off by the Japanese and sold to Japan.
The same goes for buildings that covered the entire roof with blue ceramic roof tiles. They were burned down by the U.S. Air Force's airstrikes in Japan during World War II.
Afterwards, the buildings were partially reconstructed, but less than 50 percent of what they used to be.
That's why there are so many empty spaces in the palace. Look at the map of the palace from 200 years ago. How magnificent and beautiful!
More than a hundred of the most beautiful structures, gold, silver, and rare wood carvings, and pottery and beautiful stonework have all disappeared like that.
More than a hundred of the most beautiful structures, gold, silver, and rare wood carvings, and ceramics and beautiful stone structures have disappeared like that. What a waste of history!

People who miraculously or was it inevitable by their hard work ethic have risen to world stage in almost every part of industry, best in many in just few decades must have a lot of things to learn from. Koreans are the people of honest. It's sad they are divided. Their history goes thousands of years and have protected their culture. Our American history is a baby to Korea.🤣🤣👍👍👍
What an amazing video with pro-level editing and narration! I've only been to Japan once before and now I am regretting not visiting Korea while staying in Japan. Love from Canada!

I’ve just subscribed after watching your travels in Singapore. I’m heading to Korea in late May so I’m really excited about this series. Happy travels.
Oh!! Have fun in Korea!! It was pretty different from other places we've been. The food was really unique and delicious!
Ya well singapore is even more unique than S.Korea cos is the gateway to the east & west. U dont even need to learn a new language in Singapore unlike most asia countries cos english is the 1st language in Singapore.
Singapore is so open & diverse society with multi races & multi cultural here. U wont feel home sick cos u can literally find all kinds of food in Singapore. Singapore imports ALMOST everything here & has maintained the crown of world no.1 most open economy for the last 4 decades!!❤❤❤
Even though Singapore been ranked as the world's most expensive country again for the 10th times (switzerland came in no.1 this yr too), but singapore has CHEAPER food option than any european countries or USA, which is unique to Singapore food culture called hawker centre (listed as intangible Cultural Heritage under UNESCO world heritage). Pricing of food is dirt cheap & so affordable in singapore that is cheaper to eat out than having home cooking!!😂🥰
Also, the public transport in Singapore been deliberately made cheap & affordable by SG govt to discourage less cars on the roads😁(sg gov had studied how bad traffic in most southeast asia countries when we 1st gained independence in 1965).. Singapore still has the world's most expensive car ownerships on earth since 1980s(the cost is about 4 times higher than USA & avg 3 times higher in most countries). Though u can still find many expensive super cars on Singapore roads❤❤
If u work here as an expat in singapore,so long u dont own a car, i think u can still live quite comfortably in singapore as SG has the highest avg salary in asia & is the only asia country in world top 10 highest❤🇸🇬❤
Thanks for a fantastic tour of Seoul and more.. I’ll have put the folk museum on my itinerary!
Accidentally, I happen to see your youtube, feeling you are a professional tourist, persuasing tone of voice, sense of realism. Most of all, I really feel you are perfectly impressive to Korea, our country. I appreciate you enjoy your trip in Korea. Thank you.
2시간 14분이라는 시간이 길게 늦겨지지않았어요.^^

Seoul is Awesome! Been following you guys since your Singapore Travel logs. Heather has a great narration voice! 😄
Thank you so much!! ♥️ 😊
even i`m a korean , so exciting film. i love this clip. 😍
Welcome to my hometown, Jeonju. I hope you eat a lot of delicious food, have fun sightseeing, and have a pleasant trip.
😅❤😂
1:33:40 whenever you eat Korean and Japanese meals, you are supposed to eat with rice since the side dishes are usually spicy and salty. The main dish is a bowl of steamed rice (called Bop) and the sides are for adding various tastes on top of it. Sometimes, Koreans eat just rice and kimchi only when they need super light meal. Anyway, as a Korean, I strongly recommend you always eat the sides with rice (bop) at the same time (put small amount of side on top of the spoonful of rice) OR alternatively eat rice and the side dish one at a time and then mix inside the mouth. How to eat is equally important with what to eat. No matter how the side is spicy/salty, you never complain when you eat enough rice with it or reduce the size of the side dish per sortie vice versa.
When you eat Korean meal, always eat side dishes and main entree with a rice because they're are all seasoned and meant to eat with rice, not necessarily spicy or salty.
Korea is Amazing,incredible,marvelous,wondrous!
Thank you.
Have good time.

This is fantastic! Danyang is a gem!
We absolutely loved Danyang. What a hidden gem!
First time watching but this is a whole movie I love it, quality ✅
This is such a beautiful masterpiece! One of the best Korea travel video I've ever seen❤
I would recommended you to visit Gyeoungju which was a capital for about 1,000 years in Korean history.
This video brought back such nostalgic feelings for me. As a Korean who's been living in the US for the last 20 years, it really touched my heart.

My family particularly enjoyed Yeosu and Ulleungdo. Korea has so many gorgeous places!
If you find jjimdak spicy, try the traditional chicken dishes such as samgyetang or dakbaeksuk. Classic Korean food is mild and not spicy.

What an amazing trip you had! I will be in Korea for 3 weeks starting next month and this was so helpful! Thank you for video!
Thank you for your amazing video.
It makes me happy to see you guys having a good time in Korea.
아름다운 영상, 정성스러운 설명, 감사합니다
You guys are super adventurous! I’m impressed. I’m seen a lot of TH-cam videos on Seoul and yours is quite unique. Never knew tours included K pop concerts!
Note the long grass you saw at Haneul Park is NOT the pink muhly. We were in Seoul at the same park at the end of October last year and I asked one of the park gardeners and she told me they don’t grow it there anymore. Apparently because the plant is very invasive so they have stopped planting it. You have to look elsewhere (usually outside Seoul) for pink muhly these days.
You mentioned you were in Seoul in October but it looks like you were too early for the fall colours. The Secret Garden is beautiful when the fall colours are at their peak. Seoul in general is beautiful in fall when the fall foliage is at its peak.
That pancake you ate in Busan is called hotteok. It can also be found in Seoul and other parts of Korea. It’s a popular street food snack. The filling is a mix of nuts and brown sugar mainly.
Lastly it was funny that you couldn’t find bibimbap at that place in Busan cos the menu you showed us had the Hangeul words for bibimbap. It was right next to the bibimguksu (bibim noodles). Wonder why the proprietor didn’t tell you that? 🤔
Anyhow, I’m really enjoying all your videos! I’m from Singapore and thought your Singapore videos were really cool.
Haha, thank you so much! That explains the grass. We still thought the park was pretty incredible. We obviously find it fascinating how innovative some cities can be with their natural resources (reusing landfill land like this in Seoul, how Singapore was developed, etc, etc). 😁
That hotteok was amazing - I will look it up - thanks! ❤️
Not Korean, Chinese 😂

It's the best video I've ever seen on TH-cam that introduce Korea..Thank you for the information and I will visit Korea soon.
