Thank you Dan Fellows for bringing along Bea Bradsell the daughter of Dick Bradsell, creator of the espresso martini.
Fascinating to learn the thinking behind each component of the espresso martini.
I remember those bottles of Tia Maria.
I have used Amos Owens craft vodka. I think grain based, I'll have to check. But sadly having made an espresso martini a couple of days ago, down to my last few drops.
I have a grape based vodka, which I used to make an excellent coffee liqueur. But now I'm thinking, will it be too light, lack the body of a Polish vodka?

Thanks Keith. I guess the only way is to test the different vodkas and decide your favourite! Tough gig! (But also - drink responsibly!)

Amos Owens craft vodka from sugar beet. Down to the last drop.
      I thought it was excellent.
When I checked to see if I could buy (I bought my bottle direct from the man himself) I learnt won Gold at World Vodka Awards.
