- Recently I played every Universe Mode ever made to find the best thing about every single one of them. And in this video, I will share my opinions.

I hadn't played Unleashed yet only Undisputed so for a side quest for that it is King of the Ring and any wargames side quest I just got to cody fend for both titles
Honestly they took off the promos when they made 2K 22 23 and 24
They should have just kept it until they made their last promo appearance in 2K20 cuz I like the promos since they debut in 2K 17 18 and 19 they need that bring that back
I think they should, it would add to universe mode a lot and make it feel less boring.
idk why they even took it, 2k so annoying always removing necessary stuff.

I liked it. It made it so you can save the big match between the opponents in the feud
@@Satirelegend.562 This, people complained about it being trash in 18-20 and when it was removed in 22, they all of a sudden wanted it back
I was playing universe mode on the PS2 version of SvR 2011 & on an episode of Superstars, the main event was Evan Bourne & Christian vs. Rey Mysterio & a mystery partner, which ended up being The Undertaker. Rey & Taker won the match & it gave me the option to make them a team, which I did.
The very next night on SmackDown, Taker was in a #1 contender main event match vs. Kane & Jack Swagger. Rey interfered in the match & turned on Taker, allowing Swagger to pick up the win!
SvR’s version was so fun, yet so random. lol
WWE'13 had the branching storylines in which you can select the action you want during select cutscenes. It was very rare and I only experienced it maybe twice, but having choices mid-cutscene is a great addition. Wish it was more prominent
I remember buying WWE 13 cos of that feature and i NEVER had any cutscenes in the game..
I think a interesting idea would be picking parts of each 2K game to make a theoretical 'perfect' WWE Game
Like imagine 2K19's Gameplay + WWE 12's Universe Mode + 2K14's Match Types

I think the cool thing about promos in universe mode is that it can be used best for universe mode youtube channels who can put their own prompt in to replace the 2k prompt
Hey TGG, I remember this obscure feature from WWE games from around 16-20 where if the AI was getting beat to bad, they'd give up, rollout and accept a count-out defeat. Did that ever happen to you?

That's so annoying, why do they do that? If the AI is getting beaten too bad, they'll also grab a weapon from underneath the ring and hit you, getting DQ'ed in the process. This happened to me one too many times in one day, and I said "Alright, no more WWE2k18, back to AEW Fight Forever". I have a switch, btw.

I remember, when a wrestler has traits like “desperate” instead of “bold”
They should add tag team promos. I like how promos break up from having to do matches all the time. They shouls also add how long you can make the feud. I think it be cool if they added a feature where you can end the fued whenever you want to.
The story collector is still used from the day it was invented you can trigger it even in other games. The promos in universe mode were so better in WWE2k18 I still hate how the community bashed them and now beg for it to comeback.
It's unfortunate promos were bullied out of the games. I loved it and it seems that now it's gone people want it back

Honestly I think the best feature added in WWE 2K 19 universe mode was the rivalry compatible option
I hope with 2k25 they focus a lot on universe mode cuz it has so much potential but its so broken rn
2k15 had the best universe mode. The feature to choose your own story was amazing
I'm not sure if the whole rivalry actions menu in 2K23 is actually a good thing. Something cool about Universe was seeing what random thing could happen. Its not as cool if you plan it out before the match happens.
You can let the game choose by random what cutscene will play if you dont select what actions you want yourself
No,.. I remember in svr 2011 i het the same cutscene over and over, until i gave up and 2k24 has more freedom and like you, theres a random rivalry action too.
@@Artmoreralph its because they were very few cutscenes in the universe mode of svr 2011 so you had high chances of seeing the same cutscene over and over again
Idk why they dont make this mode one of they prime features like the game wouldnt need like my gm mode or stuff like that had they just fixed or add more to universe mode idk
I would call it more of a Gm Mode expansion rather than a Season Mode expansion
2 issues with 2k24 universe mode: 1. No promos 2. You can't have any rivalry actions in PLEs not even setting up a run-in like realistic wwe .

2K19, easily with mods. The gameplay easily complemented the universe mode, along with the hundreds of mods because of the trash game that was 2K20.
