    Great ragtime blues type song. Marc knew how to make older styles of melody sound so unique and refreshing. Something he had in common with The Beatles and The Cars (the latter was definitely influenced by him).

    My school friends and I loved this song when it came out. T.Rex dominated the UK charts in the early 70s. Great videos, thanks.

    Hey man, I was a fan of private tricker and learned a lot of Stones stuff from you. I was wondering if you could figure out how to play Out of Control on the Bridges to Babylon album. I like the way Keith plays it in the concert at Cuba. There isn't anything on the web that I can find. Thanks!

    What type of capo do you use? I'm looking for one that is different from the ones I've been using. Thanks, love all the T Rex you been doing.

    Speaking of Bolan, wondering if you were ever into Tommy Bolin? Love his two solo albums. Thanks again for what you do.

    Awesome , man . What's that chord you're playing on the forth fret ? Is that 5th on the e and 4th on B/G-/A?
    Sorry to bug you here but nobody seems to be playing this way .. the right way .

    • @jamesjames9275
      @jamesjames9275  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haven't heard it. But if I want a Stones album of blues covers, I'll just listen to one of their first albums.

    Hey there JJ! what the heck is that orange amp in the background that's had a repair tag on it for like, a year?

    • @jamesjames9275
      @jamesjames9275  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +gordo907 It's a "Danger - High Voltage!" tag.

    • @gordo907
      @gordo907 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cool! So what exactly is that amp? It seems you've had it for a while, and I don't recall you ever mentioning it in your videos, which by the way, are the first place I look when I can't figure out a song. You have a great page here! You show the way YOU play it, without slowing it down to "note by note" .."Here it is,guys..pay attention" Cheers!

      Thanks. Couldn't quite see the fingering - although it sounded like a B. But then it was around 04h00 here in South Africa... :-)
