  • The change in deportation policies of the USA, New Zealand and Australia has seen the rate of deportations increase over the last decade.
    Many of these people arrive in the islands with no support and are shunned by family, which means some return to criminal activity to get by.
    But in Tonga, some of them have turned their lives around and might just be the answer to solving the Kingdom’s drug crisis.
