    That would really P me off majorly! I hope you get this resolved ASAP ! I'd ask for or buy lots of tarp and put that down on the veranda to save the internal of the property.

    Probably if you had seen the weather forecast and knew about thunderstorms, you would not have allowed the waterproofing to be removed. So it's not just the builders who are to blame. In any case, these are all small things compared to the flooding in Orenburg

    With builders, it always pays to double check everything. At the first spots of rain, I would have run out to the nearest stroimateriali base and bought loads of decorating cover sheets (cheaper than tarpaulins) and gaffer tape and used bricks to save it from blowing away. Hindsight eh, and assuming the builders would take care of it. Hope you get some sunshine to dry the house or it will require dehumidifiers and closed windows. Good luck.

    Use Cement in dry form. Build it up.as retainer . Note the water will be absorbed forming a hard dam wall. Use around your bedroom door window. It will be hard to remove when solidified. God bless from Ozzie here in Perth Western Australia

      @@ThePlasticRussian you mentioned places where you can't buy in Krasnodarskii Kray. I'm from Simferopol/Simiez but still trying to get my USSR citizenship restored. But was thinking of moving to Krasnodarskii Kray to Tamanskii Zaliv and down (not Sochi) but maximum to Galangzik. For similarity of culture. What's the situation? @@victoriadedicova the situation? I guess you mean the current military situation? Can’t say I’ve noticed any difference from 3 years ago other than lots of construction in every sector from roads to businesses and housing.🤷🏼‍♂️ there is a regulation the prevents non Russian citizens from buying within 100km of the coast so that affects 12 districts in Krasnodar region.

    • @victoriadedicova
      @victoriadedicova 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ThePlasticRussian the situation effects Crimea more. Thanks for the Krasnodarskii. Can probably still establish a business and buy as a business. Or have to fight hard to get citizenship restored somehow. Not going to be living 100km from the beach. As a Russian, laws/regulations are a challenge that one has to find a workaround for and it always exists.

      I used to design canopies, sheet metal top caps with drip edges to minimize surface issues, be it rust rott etc, generally keeps the water from seeping upwards into the wall system. Seen some bad stuff when it wasn't taken care of quickly.

    BTW, why didn't you plant more greenery in the yard? Nothing personal, but it looks like a football stadium now 🙂 What about apple, plum, pear, peach trees? They don't required any extra care, but give you alot of sweet fruits. Probably it would be great to plant any bushes (or even some berry bushes) near the fence to hide the fence itself.
    All IMHO, of course.

    In my personal opinion, if those workers were going to pull up the membrane then they could at the very least put down some water proof tarps and a small submersible water pump.
    Those workers knew it could rain soon or they wouldn’t have covered up their supplies!
    Cussing out loud wouldn’t solve anything beyond the damages you could do to yourself with the added stress. I hope you can get the repair work done before too much water damages are done to the inside of your home. Molding is a terrible thing to be adding to your problem lists. Hopefully you can be made happier when the improvements are made! 🙏🙏🙏😢😢😢
    A Terrance is very nice to have without these problems. It’s one of the main reasons I don’t like flat roofs! May God bless your heart ❤️!🤣🙏🙏

    As I can see there is no step down (50mm min.) from the inside floor level to the balcony finish level. Major oversight. And why they didn't take the waterproofing membrane over the entire width of the exterior wall is beyond me. And as I mentioned in a previous comment, is there a stepped dpc (damp proof course) at the bottom of the upper floor exterior wall? I have my doubts, since there seems to be no step down. The dpc and waterproofing membrane should be linked together to form a water proof barrier.

    • @ThePlasticRussian

      @@comancheflyer4903 so the membrane was cut back on a previous attempt to cure the leak, at that time the correct out ‘lip’ was poured and tied in with rybar.

    This is the danger of relying on women in matters such as these. I was skeptical of this construction company from the start, when I saw that the development consists of identical or nearly identical houses. Usually that is an indication of a lazy and greedy developer that cuts his expenses on everything.
